extracted fear from the population. That fear had to go somewhere: it became concentrated inside the factory thst looks like a forge, possibly becoming or containing Parallax. Abin Sur and Sinestro were the Lanterns that intervened, inadvertently damaging the Forge and destroying the population. The Guardians covered up their original sin by blaming a “rogue Manhunter.” Sinestro knew the truth, confronted them, and was silenced. Now that concentrated fear will become Sinestro’s yellow power.
