I am from Lahore Punjab. My family didn't migrate from India, we were historically based in that city. I am not sure what kind of part they played during partition I am too scared to know. However after watching that movie, I consider myself only custodian of someone's else home. I am not a powerful man, have a small home and all, but it is open to everyone who left something in my city. It is more yours than mine, gee aya nu

What a movie man
Imtiaz Ali is a genius in portraying love

The last hand wave scene😢
Heart break at its best👌

The movie teaches that response to suffering and pain shouldn't be indifference and hatred but empathy and love.

We have limited shows here in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.
But all the shows are running housefull.

Such a Beautiful Movie.

It is a masterpiece ,mujhe to pata v nehi tha ki aysi koi film aarahi hain, achanak mere ek dost ne bola movie dekhne jaane ke liye ,trailer v nehi dekha tha maine but after watching this masterpiece I littelally thanks her manytime ..everyone should watch and not only watch they should live this movie....great movie, everyones performance, that trauma, the music, cinematography and the story ufffff ....plz go and watch this.....

This movie will ashamed the movie makers who exploit audiences for their own perverted motives. Imtiaz Ali has proved that audiences are ready to love good, clean movie without involving dirty agendas. So proud of Team me wapis aayunga

This film is like a breeze of fresh air in this era of bollywood. Loved it!

I watched it on the opening weekend in Houston, TX - just me and my husband in the entire theater. So glad I watched! ❤

In the midst of all
Hatred… a movie of love wins

The best line from this video has to be " Jab naam uth raha hai, tab bhi koi nahi uth raha hai" !!

Beautiful love story on the backdrop of partition with love, affection and brotherhood overall  a family film for all.

Naseeruddin Shah proves once again why he is a master of the craft—the way he becomes a dementia patient is not acting, it is living the character. Imtiaz Ali turns the pain of Partition into something deeply human, while A.R. Rahman gives the film a soul with his world-class music. Main Wapas Aaunga feels like cinema that stays with you long after the credits roll. Truly top-class! ❤️

Imtiaz Ali’s skill in story building is visible in this movie.
He has absorbed the best cut of actors : Naseerudin is a legend, then Diljit has acted so naturally that he makes the viewer literally live the movie.
And Sharvari is a classic with her grace, elegance and beauty. Saw this movie twice.

In the time of sequels and prequels, we should praise real script and film making! Well done Imtiaz

Leaves with you a bitter-sweet taste. My god, I never cried after watching a movie, but maybe, this hit me hard because both my maternal and paternal side families migrated from across the border. And I grew up with stories about the wars of 1962.

Imtiaz Ali is a genius and I never miss his movies.. and I'm obsessed with the song jaise tu hain pass mere by deepali sahay ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It seems...if movie is good..people will come no matter what

After watching Main Vaapas Aaunga, all I could think about was the people we've lost, the memories we hold on to, and the hope that some part of them always comes back to us.

Some movies end when the credits roll…
but some stories begin living inside us long after the screen goes dark. ❤️

So many films come and go,
but only a few stay with us for a lifetime..
as memories, as emotions, as a part of who we are.

“Mein Vaapas Aaunga” is one of those films. ❤️
