"Sexual attraction makes us human" oh yeah? Well it sucks to be a GOD

Also to the one clip where people say “These are just made up labels nowadays this didn’t exist back in my day” have never heard of Bambi Gays. It was a term used for queer folk back in the day that didn’t enjoy the sexual side of things, but instead enjoyed the romance and fluffy togetherness in their partners and community. What most would probably call Ace nowadays, so it absolutely was around then, the language just evolved like the clip mentioned

thank you for this compilation, I'm ace and my ex would say things like "what if I want to sleep with you but you don't?" and that just made me feel bad because I don't have a choice I can't just forced myself or I'll hate it and also it feels so weird when everyone talks about wanting to sleep with the people they love as if it's an important milestone in a relationship

As a bi person, you don't deprive anyone of anything! Someone who ACTUALLY loves you loves being with you. A person with high libido isn't a good match, but there are many people who wouldn't care much. It's on them to tell you what they need. I would be fine with an ace partner, there are surely others who are too! :)

I've known I'm ace for years and I still sometimes question myself because "nobody really wants sex that bad right? Like come on" and then it hits me again

Before I knew that being ace was a thing I labled myself as "not liking people" all they way back in middle school. My options were "no one ive ever met is hot" "I like everyone equally" or "I just dont like people". Found out about being aro/ase from Jaiden Animations video on it lmaooo

"We just don't experience brutal animalistic urges"
PEOPLE EXPERIENCE WHAT?????

@МинаиЗз 1 year ago

4:58 that's about 493 people, for anyone wondering. That number just kinda scares me more than the percentage tbh

@Huawei_360 1 year ago

Hell yeah!!!! Ace representation, I'm questioning being aroace (idk if I'm demiromantic yet but I'm pretty sure) and I experience romantic attraction and I hate explaining that, we need more asexual and aromantic information out there for the allos

When I was younger, and still now tbh, anytime I made a friend that I really liked, in the first few months of getting closer with them I thought I had a crush on them. Turns out, that was just me really liking the person platonically and not understanding that appreciating someone doesn't have to be romantic! What a surprise(/sar)

Im scared of sex but my biggest fear is actually getting pregnant

@AP-of5kj 1 year ago

i'm not ace, but i have a lot of complicated feelings about sex and the asexual community provides a lot of comfort to me

@yeahokay...actuallynah 1 year ago

98% content in being ace
2% what if....

@campfirecade3343 1 year ago

Me ping pong-ing between ace and bi like "Do I want a relationship or do I just want cuddles and emotional closeness? What's the difference??"

@HarveyDaSpoof 1 year ago

YIPPEEE A FRESH ACE COMP!!!! All the ones I've watched have been like, years old so it's very nice to see some recent stuff :)

@brundag4 1 year ago

4:39 the amount of times that I’ve been told “you just haven’t met the right person yet” when telling someone I’m aroace is infuriating

@miraculousdream7028 1 year ago (edited)

And this is why I'm always worried about getting into relationships as a nonbinary demisexual. Because I have never EVER wanted to have sex. Now, that doesn't mean I haven't wanted to do some things, but I NEVER want to have sex with anyone! For awhile I thought it was because I was only attracted to AFAB's, but eventually I have learned that I just never want to have sex with anyone! Doesn't matter what gender they are!(though I am still trying to figure things out)

Lmao when I first found out abt being ace I was like ‘oh, well, I’m still straight, bc everyone feels like this, right? No one looks at someone they find attractive or whatever and immediately go ‘god I would have sex w them’ or ‘wow I’d date’ rightttt?”
I still think that and have trouble differentiating romantic attraction from platonic
That’s true right
