I absolutely love Colorado ❤❤

I've been doing the dirtbag thing off and on for a few years. One thing I can't seem to explain properly is how luxurious it feels going from backpacking > living out of a truck > living out of a camper > having an apartment again. Every step of the way it just kind of recalibrates your appreciation for the simple things. And yet I'm already dreaming about going back to backpacking for another summer. It's a good feeling knowing that no matter which path you're on at the moment (even living a lifestyle most people don't have the balls to ever attempt), you're gonna find things to appreciate.

EDIT: Anytime Fitness is way better imo, especially for small town locations out west.

I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your life and adventures with us. Mad respect for your “different drum” existence.

This is so rad! I noticed you are also from New Hampshire. That's where I grew up! I am out west now, but have been obsessed with this content and solo camping myself recently. Keep going! Your setup is AWESOME!

im sure others have mentioned it with how many comments are here, but Nutrition!  Make sure your eating WELL, having good food in your body can REALLY help you recover better.  the less processed the better, even in vanlife, you can make a lot of homecooked meals pretty easily.

Liz - We've been following you since you were with Ryan first trying your bike.  I understand the issues you are having with your hand. I did the same job, processing mail, for 26 years and as a result had nerve damage to both hands.  I suggest you get you get tested for Carpal Tunnel issues. I had the operation, was off work for about 8 weeks and never had any issues after that - this was done about 30 years ago. Good luck and rest your hands when you can.  All the best for the future.

I was your age when got nerve damage from a pinched nerve in my back, couldn't bend my thumb and could hardly bend my index finger for over a year. (I also needed my hands for work, I was a cake decorator) I finally found a chiropractor who also did acupuncture, and  he also prescribed therapeutic massages once a week for several weeks. It did take some time but my nerves healed up and I had movement and strength again.   I hope you're already well on your way to healing!!

Minivans have been my go to for traveling. The older ones like my 1989 Dodge Grand Caravan and 2002 Ford Windstar, the middle and third row bench seats come out entirely, creating a flat surface. But, regardless of what you live in, the whole thing is to go. Two friends and I slept in the back of a pickup truck inside a plywood topper when we drove from Southern California to Canada the summer we graduated from high school.

I have the same jackery as you and got the 240 also.. i got mine in a bundle with the 40w solar panel and its been awesome! it lasted me almost a week without recharging it. keep up the good vibes and you absolutely crushed those 400 something miles!!!

My suggestions: excel spreadsheet of people who can store your car while you’re doing activities. Like I’m in SoCal and you could totally leave your jeep at my place.
Tailgate table. I have one and LOVE IT.
Roll bar storage: there’s lots of clever roll bar storage options you could benefit from
Roof top shade: get one of those overlander style pull out shade covers for when you’re chilling. Pretty much doubles your space.
Solar: there’s tons of options now and bifacial panels put out a TON of energy.
Dm me if you wanna chat about any of this, I basically have the same jeep and can help you pick stuff out/give you ideas.

Good luck with the appointment. Thanks for the tour!

Your chair: cool...it swivels!

Take care of yourself, that was a crazy bike ride you did awesome. I had Carpal Tunnel syndrome and had to get surgery on both my hands. It helped me and I was back to training BJJ within two months. Good luck and take care. Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures. Oh yeah sick rig.

Glad you followed your heart and intuition , get healed and take time to relax ❤

Hey Liz, I met you at the Overland Expo in Flag. I'm sure you saw a lot of stuff there, but I feel like you could solve a lot of your challenges around cooking, power and refrigeration by changing up the thing you built into a kitchen slide / storage system from companies like Goose Gear or Air Down Gear Up. It would have the same footprint as what you've built already but give you more storage and the ability to have a fridge, bigger stove and cooking utensils which takes care of your other challenge. For what you do, you would only need something like an ICECO APL 35 or even an APL 20. For your power situation, all you need is a Bluetti Elite V200 or 300, the charger 2 which charges it while you're driving, and a portable 200 watt solar blanket for when you're chillin in a spot for a while. Just my opinion, but I think those few things would solve all your struggles. Cheers! Keep it up!

Wish you all the best.  Something you must pursue!

Amazing set up girl ❤

You are very organized!

❤love it😮

when I hiked Guadalupe Peak in December my right hand kept going numb.  I got home a few days later and my hand started staying numb longer and longer until it was numb 24/7.  fast forward to May of this year and my hand had completely gone back to normal.  just keep your head up, happy thoughts and keep bringing us content 😊
