as a honeyside enjoyer i am kinda bummed that you didn't mention the garden behind the house, it is one of the main reasons i always pick it. also, the enchanting room can be turned into a kids room, so they do grow up in a basement

I, of course, squat in the condemned wing of the Blue Palace.

All the homes would be vastly improved if Bethesda would fix the static/non-static collision physics so you can actually decorate these houses with all your adventuring swag.

Hey bud quick tip. To get to Proudspire quicker, fast travel directly to the Blue Palace not Solitude itself. This will spawn you right in front of the Palace just a couple doors down from your home. :)

Skyrim actually does have ovens, but you have to build them in a Hearthfire kitchen wing

Breezehome will always be home in our hearts

Nord should sponsor every Skyrim video

Generally, I keep my kids at Breezehome--as far as I'm concerned, that's their house. Then I live in one of the mansions.

"You probably picked the same one multiple times without thinking about it."
Me: Browsing my extensive Skyrim realestate portfolio, consisting inevitably of every base game and DLC home "yes... the same one... multiple times. Lydia, order more lumber, we need to add another extension to Lakeview Manor

What I always liked about Skyrim's houses is that, by and large, they feel like places I'd live in

Honeyside was always my go-to choice, before the Hearthfire houses were a thing. Something about the autumnal fishing town really stuck with me.

I think next, we should start rating how weird the videos of men with greenscreens Skyrim videos are

My favorite of the base game houses will always be the markarth house. It may be a bit of a harder sell for the idea of an average person. For me, the vibes are immaculate and I enjoy the idea of leaving and getting that awesome view. Markarth will always be the city I love the most aesthetically.

each kid's room has a training dummy because if you gift them a wooden sword they will actually use it on the dummy sometimes

I always liked Hjerim because I love to decorate homes in games and there's just so much opportunity to make it your own, I even collected books and placed them on the shelf all neatly
