As a Rammstein fan, I look at the reactions to remember what I felt when I first heard the songs.

1: You heard the singer correctly, "Teil" in German is pronounced like "Tile" in English.
2: The term "Teil" is/was used by younger men/boys in Germany as slang to refer to their "guy parts."
3: Mr. Till (the Lead Singer) is a trained and certified pyrotechnics expert.

It’s safe to say Rammstein is the warmest concert I’ve ever experienced 😂

The true event behind this is the cannibal from Rothenburg.

Don's guess on the story this song is based on is correct - the Armin Meiwes cannibalism case. I saw Rammstein when I was around 16 and they played this but I had no idea what the song was about at the time I was just like wtf is happening 😂 20 odd years later its still one of the best live shows I've ever seen! I still recommend  the Sonne music video if you can react without it being blocked.

Listen to the song "Dalai Lama". You will always have him in mind when you board an airplane.

It's a true story happened in Germany: Armin Meiwes born 1961 is a German former computer repair technician who received international attention for murdering and eating a voluntary victim in 2001, whom he had found via the Internet. After Meiwes and the victim jointly attempted to eat the victim's severed penis, Meiwes murdered his victim and proceeded to eat a large amount of his flesh.  He was arrested in December 2002. In January 2004, Meiwes was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to eight years and six months in prison. In a retrial in May 2006, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. Because of his acts, Meiwes is also known as the Rotenburg Cannibal or Der Metzgermeister (The Master Butcher). -Source Wikipedia-

Rammstein always makes art, from the most sublime, like the piano version of "Mein Herz Brennt", to the most dirty, like "te quiero puta"

Finally some new song 😉 Yes, Du Hast and Engel are amazing and EPIC, but Rammstein world has so much to offer 🥰

The "two flamethrowers-routine" isn't up to date anymore. For their current tour production they now bring out a big a**  flame CANNON for the grand finale^^ Just when you think their live shows can't get any more insane they come up with something even crazier.

The flamethrower-stunt is safe because the pot is REALLY thick-walled, and well-insulated, and the fire isn't substained.
Also on recent tours they...ditched the pot. Flake (the keyboarder) got a high-temp fire retardant suit, and then they just go for it.

Mein Teil is actually about a German man named Armin Meiwes. He's currently in prison, look it up. He actually tried to sue the band when they made this song! Also the 2022 tour had a much bigger flame thrower!

Fun fact: When they were planning and practising the performances, the keyboarder forgot that the pot he had to climb out of got very hot from the fire. He burnt all his fingertips and had to play the first concerts with plasters and pain.

you dont even have to be a metal fan to be blown away by how fucking crazy and amazing this band is

There's an old joke in the fandom that, when you watch/listen to rammstein alone, you get "Haifisch" and "Diamant".
When someone comes in you get "Mein Teil" or worse.

Rammstein - Dalai Lama (from the educatedmarine Cannel) (Custom Video with English Lyrics) the channel is with the Bucksttabu channel, the largest with subtitles of Rammstein's songs. The lyrics are based on the poem "der Erlkönig" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. This is really a strong song. Greetings from Germany.

Yes, most people whom watch your Rammstein reactions are true Rammstein fans whom love seeing you going down this rabbit hole!
It is a wonderful journey, and it is cool to see new fans being blown away!
A lot may be from Europe, I am from the Netherlands .. but also the US holds a lot of Rammstein fans .. and Rammstein fans are real cool folk! You will get many views!

This song IS about that "eating story" from Germany yes. Please keep on doing Rammstein reactions .. they are realllllyyy worth it! 😉🤘

childhood= Kindheit =)

For the last couple of years they bring another third and even bigger flame thrower on stage for Till to burn Flake - a flame thrower on wheels on which Till can sit and shoot flames from one side over the entire stage to the other side.

You would probably enjoy the official video to "Mein Land", it's totally fun, only gets scary for about 15 seconds at the very end :-)
