Just this week I cubed up leftover focaccia that had fresh herbs, olives, parm and freeze dried to use as croutons or bread crumbs. They tasted amazing with the extra flavors.

News Flash! 2guys and a cooler freeze dried BUTTER. He did use egg white powder to help with emusification.

not freeze drying but if you make your own vanilla (beans in alcohol) then once you pull the beans out you can dehydrate them and put the powder of them in sugar so you have vanilla sugar for sweets or baking.

With the chocolate covered fruit, try FD raspberries coated in chocolate or white bark coating. They are like wow😮

Apple Cider is good; like hot cocoa is ! For winter.   Just a nice drink is all.

Ha, I missed the original sprinkles video. You are very creative! For sure, I can see myself trying the vanilla powder and peanut butter powder. Frieda (my freeze dryer) has been taking a break with the summer heat, so we'll have lots of fun with these once fall arrives. Loved the compilation, thank you!  😍👍

I learn SO much from you!! Thanks so much for these ideas!

Thank you!  Want to try some PB once I get going.  Hope to get my bread run started today.

Hey! We are back in Alaska 🥳🌟🎊 Hey GUS 🫎 ❤ Okay back in AZ 🥳 That was the fastest trip ever 😃😅

More great ideas! and loved the Gus flash back:)

Can I ask your recommendation on a table? We haven’t unboxed ours yet but it will be set up in a pantry with louvered doors in my living room. I’m trying to find the one that will be best for noise control. I can’t seem to find any videos that explain the volume levels based on woorkbench, stainless, or a kitchen cabinet with countertop. Thank you!

Great to see Gus again, even if it was a look back. Making vanilla extract is very good too, Wish I could talk you into making homemade bone broth. It's SO much better than boxed/bought. Cheap too. We freeze ours in small containers & use in seasoning beans, mashed potatoes, LOTS of things, Instapot for small batches, roaster for big overnight ones where we have a turkey carcass or other mass quantities. Great, versatile stuff! Distilled water can also be found in infant dept, often cheaper.

Question: So, how long should I expect freeze dried peanut butter to last if I place it in a mylar bag with an oxygen absorber? Thanks so much

I wonder if you could make your own meringue powder with the freeze dryer?  Curious😮?

There is no impurities in distilled water

If you do different things on trays . Does the flavour from 1 food get into the other?

Coming up to 5mths back order harvest right......☹️

How far in advance do you think that I could package up some chocolate covered freeze dried strawberries? I will be sure to cover them completely in chocolate, but I am just wondering how long they will actually last in a package.

Why do they say that bread doesn't freeze dry?  😊❤

You miss Gus?
