at this point i just want HG to release an extra slot so we can all upgrade to 253 and be done with this crap of a debate

I had one super specific scenario where it made sense to turn sanity into drones: the day before an event was to start I was near a level up. If I use the sanity I have, I waste the level up sanity just before the event. If I don’t use it, I cap out. So I spent it on drones.

To address something the video didn't: Capacity isn't a factor. Despite what it might feel to see level two factories capped, if three level twos are capping where your level three factories didn't, that just mean you gained resources, not lost them.

The math is simple: The capacity of a level three factory is 54. 54*2 is 108. The capacity of a level two factory is 36. 36*3 is 108.

They're the exact same. The absolute worst case scenario for 252, where you leave your base alone for so long everything caps out, you get just as much total capacity as 243 does. (54*2+(36*3)=216, 54*4=216).

What's more, it actually works out slightly better for 252 – EXP subdivides by 5, 36/5 rounded down is 7, 54/5 rounded down is 10; 10*2=20, 7*3=21. In a fully capped scenario you end up with one extra EXP in 252 than 243 gets. Not much, but something.

You can be less efficient, less intentional, about managing a 252 than a 243 and still come out ahead. The idea that it's 'harder' because 'you run out of space faster' is a lie. Basic arithmetic demonstrates that.

And talking about the level 2 TP is irrelevant because Proviso exists. I'm fairly sure it's optimal for a 243 to downgrade a trading post for Proviso.

Edit: And all this is arguing about a Max-Right 252, which is the 'worst-case' scenario for 252. A Max-Left 252 either has zero or one (if RR is level 3) level two factory, so in those cases  its capacity would be 54*5=270 or 54*4+36=252. That's 10 / 7 extra EXP or 28 / 18 extra gold with all factories hitting their cap, respectively.

been waiting for this entropy, you are always an goat

why I prefer 243 is because I do 24 hour rotations before going to bed I just quickly open the base and hit the rest icon it automictically puts the rest of my operators whose morale isn't full in the dorm without needing to open any other UI.

I know it's a bit worse overall I just don't like clicking the rotate button on every single facility more than once a day.

Something I found out as a new player that's not mentioned, the new player quests make you level reception room to level 3. So not leveling it means you lose half of the beginner materials and the free Texas.

Really interested on more videos like this one. Excellent work bro.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!!

I badly needed this video xD Playing for 6 years and still haven't optimized which operator should be paired with which other operators in the trade post/factory

I wish I had found this a few days ago before I upgraded my office one level thinking that I could change it back if it didn’t like it.  In general, the actual nuts and bolts of the base is neglected in CC material.  Thanks for doing this.

Great video mate

Its insane to me that after 7 years or w/e you still cant downgrade right side buildings, like "enjoy your bricked base" ig.

im doing 24h rotation cuz i aint dealing with all that

9:17 hello PeterYR

If I don't log in at least every 10 hours my Lv2 factories hit capacity. I'm not sure if that's a problem I want to put brain power into fixing.

I just know I have 7 E2 Sui, E2 Mr Nothing, E2 Mulberry, and E2 Proviso (and also Bibeak, Tequila and Shamare, but they exist for the other tradit post)

The numbers are... bugged for anyone that isn't the command center with a full Sui base? Is it just me?
It ends up throwing off my schedule a bit every time

I also have Dawnstreak and Ines, yes, the full Sui base was something I was accidentally able o build, I only needed to build Mr Nothing, who I don't use

Or i could just be a power company (all powerplant) and charge other landships for using my power when I or they dock :>

wait regarding keeping the office at level 1, when needing to upgrade the control centre it's requirements were 8 non-activity rooms up to level 2 was there another room i could have upgraded instead?

You're not playing the base correctly without cursed proviso strat.

About 24h rotation, why at 13:50 you don't count 2 op in Power Plant?

How do people have more than 1 trading post?
