Rockstar robbed us when we didnt get an undead nightmare 2 on rdr2

Undead Nightmare is a horror game. The crawler zombies are legit scary with the way they run up on you.

one thing i liked in undead nightmare is its one of the few zombie games i can think of where you have to shoot them in the head to eliminate them

I'm replaying this myself too, still got my save file from a decade ago

The burning of graveyards activity really is supposed to introduce you to clearing graveyards to prevent them from attacking safe towns by I think delaying them by in game days. This is repeatable. This was the first game to introduce me into Red Dead and I didn't even know about dead eye until after I completed it and moved on to the base game. The cannons at the forts were too much fun and an easy way to de-stress.

nobody talks about how johns "barricade" on his house door doesnt do anything. the brackets where he puts that board across is on the door itself, and the door opens outwards so he put that plank in the slot but the door would just open out with the plank on it. sorry i build doors for a living

The whole vibe of Undead Nightmare was great. The atmosphere was creepy, the storyline was awesome, the monsters were perfect and the random encounters were unbelievably dark. I hope they try to capture that magic with a second version one day soon!

"You sir, are a man of great patience" is my favorite line from John. 😂

Also, the woman who is the Aztec godess, you can spot her consistently throughout the game before you meet her in mexico.

bro uses dead eye for every shot

Maybe it's already been said, but Dutch, Bill, and Javier aren't in it because it's post Dutch's death

literally some of the best horror soundtrack ever made

I'm not sure if you know about this or not but you can save a whole lot of time clearing settlements and towns from zombies by giving ammo to the other NPCs helping you get rid of them where each time you do it it clears a round helping you clear towns much faster.

I remember playing this for the first time as a kid, and getting scared because I didn't know how to lasso Abigail. I ended up quitting because I was too scared, but years later, I went back and completed the whole game. Definitely one of my favorite zombie games ever!

I used to be absolutely terrified to keave towns in this game. It's very understated, how oppressive and sinister the atmosphere of undead nightmare gets. The entire games soundtrack was reworked (with new added music as well) the regular ambience of areas like west elizabeth, hennigans stead, and diaz coronas. All sound similar to the base game, but somethings off. Then it hits you with distorted instruments and the sinister green moon, fog, and rotten lighting.

Still have this disc I love this little side game thing. Awesome stuff.

The point to get all horses of the apocalypse, is the reward for doung that set of challenges. A horse deed for each horse. I think that's well and truly worth doing ASAP, because War and Death are amazing horeses and losing them (Albiet however hard that could be) is devastating

imagine if gta 5 got an undead nightmare would of expanded the lifetime so long

My advice: Play RDR1 main campaign. Then when John reaches the Ranch do a few missions. Then start undead nightmare. When you finish that go back to the main campaign to finish that one.

This way it feels like John literally had a bad fever dream while sleeping in bed. Good starting point for the DLC.

Thanks I never actually played it
