Federal deputy-elect for Minas Gerais, Ana Elisa (PT), 21 years old, deactivated her account on the social network X, formerly Twitter, after receiving death and rape threats. The decision was made on Thursday night (8), when the attacks intensified on social media, according to the elected parliamentarian.

According to Ana Elisa, the violent messages began to arrive frequently, which motivated the decision to take the profile offline and prioritize personal safety.
