When former president Jair Bolsonaro, ineligible and convicted, nominated André Mendonça to the position of Supreme Court Justice, he made a point of highlighting that he was nominating a "terribly evangelical" minister. This leads many to believe that religion was the main reason for Jair's choice. In this video, we'll show that's not quite the case.
