The very 1st Saw movie has 2 undeserved deaths of Donnie Greco (Amanda kills him to escape her own trap) & Detective Steven Sing (righteously pursues Jigsaw only to be killed by a shotgun trap). John Kramer's hypocrisy is shown very early on in the franchise. Heck, Amanda didn't even have to suffer to get through her trap.

Jigsaw is a killer. In Amanda's game he put two people in a room and ordered one of them dead. Even though it was at Amanda's hands it's the same as holding a gun to her head and forcing her to gut somebody. Murder by Proxy.

Also Lee wasn't trying to use his daughter's ear implant to fight the creatures. He was trying to make it work again for her. Reagan finds out it works because she notices the monsters reacting to the feedback like she did.

there's a horror movie called Mama (2013) and Lily was the child who died. her death wasn't undeserved because she was young, but it was undeserved because she truly saw Edith as a mother and loved Edith

I involuntarily watched Drag Me to Hell. For whatever reason, my mom was convinced it was a romcom. I told her it was a horror movie. She told me I was wrong and, being a young teen, I believed her.

Here's the thing. I can't watch horror movies. I can't even watch suspense! I may know a scare is coming, but I will jump anyway. I don't hate horror - in fact, it's one of my favorite literary genres - I just can't watch it.

I spent that entire movie curled up under the theater seat and right when it got to the end, right when she got out... Well, I walked out of the theater scared and pissed off!

In SAW 3D, Jigsaw wasn't John Kramer (Kramer had died). His apprentice, Mark Hoffman, went off the rails and became a cold-blooded killer who used Jigsaw traps to settle personal scores.

As someone who has never seen the Final Destination movies, that elevator scene immediately would break my immersion. Elevators don't close on people like that.
