For me, the OG version is someone angry at the world, this version it's someone angry at themself.

The tone of this version of the song has so much gravity. It's heavy, the first one is more angry in your face. This one makes you feel alone and by yourself.

"It all started when i lost my mother" is the moment when you hear the emotion really start to pull into Ronnies voice. And that correlates with his life. Ronnies mother was never there for him she was a drug addict and abandoned ronnie and his brother with their dad when they were very young. Then ronnie went down the same path with drugs for a period of time but hes been sober for a long time now.

This version with it slowed down and Ronnie's vocals (crying for help) really emphasized the lyrics better than the original. You can feel the pain in the lyrics of this version vs the original that you just jam to. Great reaction and breakdown as usual, you should also check out watch the world born by them it will blow your mind how skilled they are!

As a happy person you'll hear the lyrics, as a sad person you understand it

Papa Roaches version = Teenage Angst flipping off the world. Falling in Reverse version = The adult pleading for help....

Was waiting for this one. I knew that first pause was coming with exactly what you were thinking. I heard the original so many times and the lyrics never came through like they did when I heard FIR version. I had chills and paused in the same spot to reflect. Wow, what a difference the delivery can make. I couldn't believe it was the same lyrics. Had to go back and listen to the original again. So good.

Well this is going to be interestint you did all the FiR reimagined songs. Time to get your socks knocked off and see another dynamic go for watch the world burn. Dive all the way in.

Teenage Angst to Adult Sorrow. Such a fantastic story of two sides to the song. Papa Roach's angry in your face version to Ronnie's desperate plea. Such a fantastic contrast.

For someone who fell deep in a dark place years ago with crippling anxiety and depression thankfully better now your reaction gave me chills amazing reaction ,Falling in reverse just a league of there own

@reactivereplays5666 2 years ago

Papa Roach’s version feels like the teenage angst/rage, like they will threaten to end things. Ronnie's version feels like an adult’s depression, and he’s pleading for help before he ends things. Really puts the raw emotion in the original lyrics that I never noticed.

please keep goin down the falling in reverse journey.. ronnie is a literal musical genius. hes got songs where he raps hes got songs where its more metal, like the guy can do music.. like all of it lol

The Papa Roach version was an angsty teen anthem...this version is for those teens as a grown up melancholic version.

I could really feel the emotions in your eyes! so lovely to see♥

Ronnie Radke always gets women emotionally invested it’s his voice A- is incredibly powerful and very difficult for any singer and that particular note and Strings and Piano just makes you fully immersed ❤

The original version was something I very much related to when it first came out. Lots of anger and those feelings in the song.

@kevinhaen2763 1 year ago

It sounds like the reality of the person who has gone past the point of asking for help and has made their final decision. Ronnie captures well the actual pain of this point in life, rather than tge anger that has led to this point as was exemplified in Papa Roach's original rendition.

At the end of the FIR song Watch The World Burn, in the end is shows the World being swallowed in fire. At the end of this video, the Earth is being restored as the flames vanquish and disappear! Everyone's interpretation of this remake truly brings the lyrics and does make you feel like it brings on a whole new meaning. PR's original was very upbeat as you had said and it just grooved so well you didn't really think about the lyrics. This one hits home a whole different feel! Glad you finally got to it!!!
