I live near Robert. I have met him plenty of times in our local pub. He is a lovely bloke. No ego or delusions of grandeur. What you see is what you get. I am a huge fan of his work but have never asked for an autograph or photo. We just chat, say hello and it's great that almost no one in the pub makes a big deal about who he is.

Zepplin was one of those bands that changed music forever

Robert Plant has always been one of the most thoughtful and articulate of all the "rock gods" of his generation

At his peak I believe he was the greatest rock singer of all time. His power and range were 2nd to none.

What a really sweet guy.  He really is an ''old hippie'' in a really genuine and nice way.

I could listen to Robert Plant speak for hours and days.

Please mention to him... a 15 year old kid almost didnt graduate high school for NOT doing my English, but I knew every NOTE of Led Zep 1,2,3,4 note for note. I want to say THANK YOU ZEP!!

Robert has always struck me as a normal, down-to-earth guy. I’m glad to see so many in the comments who’ve shared a pint with him say the same. He’s one of my favorite musicians—not just for his talent, but because he’s one of the rare few who stay humble despite their success.

I'm a young fella and I'm glad to live in a world this man still exists

Robert brilliantly avoids telling anything salacious, no matter how Dan tries. There's no hiding behind "a long time ago", he simply avoids telling any dirty stories. So skilled at interviews and keeping control!

Saw them 8 times between 1971-77. Lucky to be old!

I met Robert Plant once for 15 minutes or so and he was very normal and nice and fun.

A thousand years from now people will still be listening to and talking about Led Zeppelin. And we were here to witness it all.

Robert Plant has the greatest voice in rock and roll.

I can’t count how many times Led Zeppelin gave me a natural high. The music helped me feel ALIVE!

I worked as a roadie around 2000/01 in Sweden and I'll never forget watching this small van reverse right up to my feet, and Robert Plant jumped out and smiled at me. I was frozen and struck by his aura and charisma. Each line on his face told a crazy story. Cool as fuck.

I have met him 2 times in Sainsburys, as I live in one of his home towns. I can tell you that he`s as nice in real life as he is in this interview. Absolutely amazing fellow. the comments below just show how much love there is for Robert. Legendary.

What Jimmy Hendricks was to guitarist, Robert Plant is to vocalsist. He was a true pioneer and not like most pioneer's that inspire and gets replaced, his vocal performances on record is still the reference. There will never be another Robert Pant. He's a one off.

What a lovely interview. These two guys actually listen to each other. Two thoughtful gentlemen having a real conversation. That's all too rare these days.

“If the tiny motor bike fits in the elevator, then she’s good to go”.——Robert Plant. God bless you sir.
