Ironic how arguably the most physically powered super hero has the most epic mental /psychological battle in all of comic book films.

When I was a kid, Hulk yelling out, "TAKE IT ALLLLLLLL!" was one of the coldest things ever. Still have a lot of love for it. I love when heroes scream in rage.

This movie tried to say things about childhood trauma and repression and was all the deeper for it.

For those confused his dad tried absorbing the Hulks gamma energy to stabilize his cells but Hulk keep giving him more until his body broke down into the mushroom cloud

The lightning cloud travel is dope.

Just realizing how epic and psychological this battle was after so many years.

3:55 Bruce Banner: You think you can live with that, take it!

Hulk: TAKE IT ALL!!!!!!

Obsorbing man: takes 3% of hulks rage Give me more bruce...
Hulk: turns off the safety

God that cloud shot is just gorgeous, not only it seem like two god-like beings battling it out, But it really feels like a comic book panel in motion… Ang Lee did an amazing job with this movie idc what anyone says.

This movie was so much better than how it was treated.....there was so much effort into the psychology and depiction of it. It wasn't just "HULK SMASH".

Absorbing Man was one scary and OP villain. Dude would've been an Avengers level threat if he was in the MCU verse

This movie was ahead of its time

Those soldiers are brave as fuck.
“Move in on that literal SCP with nothing but your M-16” “WITH PLEASURE SIR. GLORY TO THE UNITED STATES.”

That wasn't acting. That was just Nick Nolte being himself. Ang Lee had something completely different in mind, but Nick just started chewing on power cables like a lunatic😂

You could tell that general ross did love  Bruce in his own kind of way but due to his past with Bruce's father he was scared that Bruce would be just like his father but boy was he wrong

5:09 You can see the sadness in Ross as he couldn’t help Bruce a second time, first after his mothers death and now after his fathers. He also thought Bruce died in that Gamma explosion so he was very solemn thinking Bruce had died along with his father and that he failed to protect him, in the end he did love Bruce as a sort of father figure

Never understood all the hatred for this film. Great emotional story, great villains, great fight scenes, great score, what's not to love?

I didn’t appreciate this movie enough when I was a kid, I thought it was weird. Now I know, it’s one of the best representations of Hulk that we’ve ever gotten on screen. His humongous size, connection with Betty, and Bruce/Hulk’s relationship with his father (repressed anger) is top notch.

I loved how in this movie they made a seemingly hulk villain who is usually dumb but powerful. But they decided to give him intelligence and up his power even more than usual

This was the best hulk hands down.  Scared the crap out of me when I was a kid
