As someone who works in manufacturing engineering and benefits from using AI for some tasks, I think editing with the help of AI isn't bad. You still made the footage, it's just helping you save time on cutting it down to the presentable portions. It's not creating anything, it's just helping save time. Like I use it to help parse through data or help me figure out how to do something specific in Excel. I think AI is good when it's a tool/resource, not when it rips off humans and takes their jobs away, like with making art itself. So I don't think it's hypocritical at all and it will never stop me from watching and enjoying your videos by using it to help edit
But also, a really good move of him to collab with you because YTs Algorythmen has pushed it good. I wished the author would also offer direct sales for the e-book (physical is due to terrifs too expansive to justify, as much as i would love to have it physical in my shelves because the book itself also looks stunning) but for at least me, i bought the book because i saw your video and got curious to check it out.
