It’s the Le Mans Ultimate combo I’ve been waiting for — an LMGT3 Sprint at Sebring. A couple of months ago, I picked up my first ever LMU pole position here and I was looking odds on to take my first win as well. Unfortunately, the rain had other ideas.
In the dry, I certainly had race-winning pace and I’ve been waiting to see it appear back on the Le Mans Ultimate online calendar. Well, I’ve finally got my wish — is tonight the night i finally get the job done?
Based on qualifying it’s a resounding no. I’m nowhere near the lap times I was smashing out in the dry last time out, and I find myself all the way down in P18 on a grid of 20. Talk about a reality check — I’ve gone from eyeing up a race win to hoping I don’t finish last in the space of four qualifying laps.
LMU multiplayer racing at Sebring is always fast and furious, but I’ve got no idea how this one is going to end up. I wouldn’t worry about getting any champagne out though…

Wow! There's a lot to unpack on that final lap and a half! DK tapping you and nearly spinning you and taking the position was not cool. He didn't have enough overlap to be granted space on the inside. The fact that he forced his way through would have gotten him a penalty in a real world race or at least been forced to give the position back. His barging past the other Mustang just a few turns later show us what kind of driver he is - discourteous. Did Kalosovszky hit him intentionally on turn 1 sending them both off!? Either way, K's attempted revenge punt proves he shouldn't be allowed on public servers. (I would have reported that intentional wreck attempt.)
Otherwise, great race! That's my favorite way to gain positions... just drive clean and take all the freebies! 🙂
All in all a very enjoyable race to watch.
K should have conceded the position back to you after the contact, but I understand why after seeing their behaviour later on with the revenge attempt...better off not getting involved, you showed your years of experience there 😂
