Ranking EVERY New Feature in the Minecraft 1.21.6 Update

The Minecraft 1.21.6 update, otherwise known as the Chase the Skies drop has finally been released! This added in a few new features like the happy ghast, a secret painting, new crafting recipes and so on. So today I thought it would be fun to rank every new feature from the worst to the best for a minecraft java survival world! This will not include creative mode only additions and while I normally wouldn’t include bedrock edition exclusives… I decided to make an exception this time…

Probably should’ve made this more clear but I didn’t include vibrant visuals because I’ll rank it when it comes to Java later. I made an exception for the painting because it hasn’t been confirmed to come to Java yet, so hope that clears up some confusion!

Also I am very annoyed that there is like a 2 frame editing mistake in the video but it’s also funny and barely noticeable so I’m not gonna say what it is and claim it’s intentional 🙏

I hope that Camel drop becomes a frequent returning gag in the Minecraft videos.

Camel drop is a 10/10 game no question

I actually forgot this drop was a thing until it released. Granted, I haven't been playing a lot of MC recently, but it does help prove the point of how the drops, despite all of the good things they're offering, may not be sustainable in the long run because they don't have nearly as much hype behind them. If anything, I hope they offset their drops with a major update once in a while so we get the best of both worlds.

7:13 well obviously, you compliment the trader, and give him a nice hug, then he gives you the lead as a token of appreciation!

1:09 The first splash potion effect change is actually effective because in earlier versions you had to splash it on top of your head to get the full potion duration, but if you threw it on the ground for example you'll get a reduced duration. but now I THINK that no matter where you throw it you'll always get the full duration.

“Good boy” is just what they said the painting depicted on the blog, the actual name of it is Dennis because of the A Minecraft Movie

11:40 And as a Bedrock player it’s really frustrating when Java gets something that we don’t.

11:33 I think because of the advanced lighting of the good boy painting, it’s in reference to vibrant visuals and Java will get it once they get vibrant visuals. P.S. the painting is actually called ‘Dennis in the files in of course reference to the dog in the Minecraft movie
