Ngl, Grim is a Good starter pokemon to MC

I find it pretty funny that you gave Azul a Dragalge since it's weak to the Malamar and Bruxish you gave to Jade and Floyd. Really mirrors the dynamic between Azul and the twins in my opinion. The twins Pokémon would definitely bully Azul's Dragalge.

You could also give Riddle a Togedemaru or Cyndequil for the hedgehog vibes. Helps that one is also a fellow arsonist.

For Jamil I almost said  Scolipede but then I remembered he hates bugs 😂 (me imagining Jamil screaming and running away from bug types). I also said Vaporeon for Azul since it has a mermaid tail and it fit

I could 100% see Trey with a Matcha Alcremie with the clover sweet. Not only would it be on-theme for Trey, but the clover sweet also reminds me of those checkerboard "Eat Me" cookies from Alice in Wonderland so it would be on-theme for the dorm too! Also to add on to Vil having a Spritzee, he wouldn't just have a normal Spritzee oh no, Vil would have a SHINY Spritzee. Not only are shiny Pokémon extremely rare, but shiny Spritzee is also purple! It would match the Pomfiore color palette.

This reminds me of egophiliac's twst pokemon series on tumblr lolol. Absolutely love this as a video! And i love seeing all the different pokemon you paired them all with, along with your thought process. Amazing video as always! Remember to drink some water, and have a great rest of your day!

in a pokemon twst au, grim could be yuus pokemon and talk like meowth does

8:30 The fact that you didn't show a clover alcremie is criminal

A pokemon I thought also fits Kalim is Ludicolo. They both dance, are cheerful, and ludicolo is a water type to match Kalim's unique magic.

I love how the shoud family is the Eevee evolutions. The Eevee evolution is my favorite evolution.

26:20 HEAR ME OUT!!! Jamil has two Pokémon. He found the Baltoy on his own and has always loved it dearly, that’s his partner Pokémon. Yet his second is Seviper, which was a gift from Kalim when they were kids. Or, moreover a gift from Kalim and Oricorio as a pair. Oricorio was found playing with it and Kalim took it home so they wouldn’t have to separate, giving it to Jamil since he trusted them to be best as a pair

I  like your choices of Pokémon.  Especially about Musharna for Silver. Another i had an idea for him is a Gallade.  I kinda headcanon that he found a dawn stone to evolve his Kirlia to become a Gallade after learning of it from Lilia. It is a master of courtesy and swordsmanship capable of predicting its foe's moves, allowing it to strike preemptively. Silver's skilled with a sword, of course, and Gallade could sense his moves as part of his training.  Though he could also be there when Silver has one of his sleeping spells.

As predictable as my take is, just wanted to bring it up.

That title got me hooked. Also Culinary Crucible just started. It’s hell

Now I’m just gonna be obsessed with Twist Pokemon AUs and thinking about them for the rest of the day 😂
Thanks for the entertainment during my work day!

Ooo… how fun! Let’s see if I had to give Yuu a pokemon it would be… Riolu.

Though very picky with choosing their trainers once a Riolu picks a trainer they are loyal for life. Riolu got attracted to Yuu’s innocent and kindhearted nature and decided Yuu is their trainer. I can imagine little Riolu and Grim getting into scuffles over Yuu. Not only that, Riolu can sense aura, which would help Yuu as the school’s unofficial school therapist. Or even bring up Yuu’s spirit when they are feeling down or missing home. Plus having a Riolu would definitely help their coolness factor as the only magicless student at NRC.

Edit: i am definitely not projecting my own self-indulgent desire to have my own Riolu.

I read a pokemon trainer reader x twst fanfic at one point and the trainer’s shaymin absolutely adored Riddle. Yeah. Riddle can have that mythical.

Rook/Quaquaval is perfect, like for 1 rook is form the sunset savanna so a water type to help cool him down if he’s out hunting or doing anything fits, but also they are both so extra it’s perfect.

Also shaymin for Riddle would be so cute but i could also imagine riddle got a pokemon from his mom that would one day be helpful as a doctor like a happiny (even if i think riddle’s mom would think friendship evolutions are unreliable)

This was such a fun video! I loved all of your pairings. My favorites were Epel/Applin and Kalim/Oricorio.

Now I want to see the TWST cast with Digimon partners XD

I know Idia would be in heaven being in the digital world of Digimon X3

OMG! im so happy someone else is mixing up pokemon and twst!

I love most of them but personaly i have other choices for some chraracthers

Like deuce and the scorbunny line, aside of the fact that its a bunny (actually not planed to match) its a pokemon that loves to run and has like this development of being like all little and cute to going to a "darker" one to then going on the more rigthful path learning from its past while still having some of the more conflictive personality left said in the scarlet pokedex, as it looses its  cool easily

Another one that is more of a niche thing, is that if the pkm world and the twst world were mixed up im sure that ortho would be a rotom, like idia finding a way to fuse his data on the rotom and make it posess the robotic body and in book 6 orthos original soul mixing up with the rotom just like the chip they found at the end of of the book
