Cyrusher Rover E-Bike Review
I put the Cyrusher Rover fat tyre e-bike to the test across dirt, gravel, roads and woodland trails — and even took it out for a night ride to test the integrated lights.
With its big fat tyres and comfortable riding position, the Cyrusher Rover delivered a very comfortable ride across the different surfaces I tested. I was also seriously impressed by the integrated lighting system when riding after dark.
In this video, I share my genuine experience with the Cyrusher Rover, including how it handles different terrain, its comfort, power delivery, controls, walk assist and what it's actually like to ride at night.

This is only the 2nd time I’ve ever set foot on a hardtail fatty, the first being a 2019 Cube Nutrail 500 Hybrid running the Bosch mid drive performance line 75nm motor. The only reason I didn’t put down hard cash on the bike was its size, which was basically based on a 26” wheelset and way too small for me. Instead I bought a full 29er, in the form of a 2019 Giant Fathom E+3 hardtail running mid drive 75nm Giant Yamaha Syncdrive Sport. Sitting on the Rover was very different from both of those bikes and both in a good way. I instantly felt comfortable the moment I swung a leg over it, just because of its sizing. Then I rode it and two things became apparent in a matter of seconds.
1st the bike’s suspension is magic carpet like, It doesn’t ride through stuff like my Fathom, rather than just float over it. The rear suspension in particular was something else, compared to my 2nd bike, Trek Rail 5. We’re talking about Toyota Land Cruiser levels of comfort here. Your arse ain’t feeling nothing.
The second thing was the bike’s torque and this is where I had reservations. Even set in eco that bike pulled in ways that frightened me and I was on the bike for less than 45 seconds, so I admit that my opinion is based on my very first impression but having also recently tried out an Avinox bike, I can say, hand on my heart that e-bikes running over 100nm impress me NOT. I also would have serious doubt about the long term sustainability of the rather basic drivetrain having that much torque pumped through it.
My only other concern for me would be the brakes, where I would upgrade the calipers from two to four potters and increase the size of the rotors, especially on the front wheel.
I agree with you on beefing up the tyres, with an insert and self healing innertubes. I’ve been running that setup on my Giant since 2020 and it’s been nigh bulletproof.
That’s my two cents.
