Amazing review. You really did the movie justice and explored things that I have never seen anyone did before, such as comparing the dialogue with the Christmas party with the ritual.

Incredible video, totally captivating, and a super deep and complete analysis of the entire film. Thank you, because I'm sure it was a lot of work.
The comparison between the party scene and the ritual scene was something I'd never seen before, and it gave me goosebumps.

This is such a good breakdown of ews. You are doing the lord's work.

One of the best videos I have seen explaining Eyes Wide Shut! And I have seen almost all. Well done 🙌

Smartest, most comprehensive assessment I’ve listened to yet

i love ur vids sm pls never stop uploading

Oooh girl, my show is ON!

Intellectual virtuosity. This is beyond incredible.  Genius— worthy of Kubrick.  It’s a shame he never got to see this.

Timestamp 1:06:50 where the shadow of the mask also silhouettes the profile of a man’s face is eerie!

I have a copy of the script and a lot of these things stand out really starkly when you read them. Bill is very obtuse and unconcerned about the babysitter at the beginning, and I agree that this is characterization and the screenwriter wanted us to see just how haughty and unconnected he is.

2:27 I think this about Curry Barker when he directed Obsession. He told the audience that the main character wasnt possessed but she definitely is being inhabited and experiencing an internal invasion by something eles she no control over.

One tiny reason that one might take everything as a (truthful) dream, is that during the bedroom argument, between shots of Alice, the red candle’s wax content, in the candelabra on the dresser, radically change.  Within seconds the candles have almost melted entirely.

There is something very significant which is missing.  Alice is wearing the same-colored coat (tan) at the end, that the spies wear throughout EYS.  Perhaps everyone was recruiting Bill.  Perhaps in order to survive Alice had to recruit Bill and pimp her daughter out to the powers.

excellent analysis

I think this may be my new favorite channel!! Keep it up girl 🌹 I’m loving these deep dives!

49:07 fantastic video

Insane amazing vid

In the beginning when Alice talks about cheating she says that Helena goes "off with a friend to a movie" - she's a child and they are in cape cod - i think the friend was probably another member of the cult

20:45 Stanley Kubrick did say the address. To get to the Under the Rainbow shop, you need to cross the street from the Sonata Jazz Bar where Nick plays. Both, at a few steps from the Sewing Thread pub (the big pub always shown when he arrives at the Sonata and the Rainbow) corner. Just look around. Look at the reflections in the glass entrance of the costume shop at the time when he gets there at night, and you’ll see the same coffee shop (Gillespies + Eros) next to the Sonata. Why did Bill take a cab that night? It is because he went elsewhere to complete another mysterious step before going back to the same street. You can confirm this the next day, when Bill goes to Sonata Bar. He stares directly at where the 🌈 costume shop is located but it is not the right time, so he decides to go to the coffee shop first, just to come back later to the same place where the Sewing Thread pub is displayed.

1:03:23 Timestamp on this video. The statue is no longer a tall angel... it's turned into a short little alien/demon.
