Excellent as always Mark.

Lovely edit Mark, picked up some great tips here! I bought your course a while ago and have been slowly making my way through.

Your images are awesome Mark!! Really can't wait to finally go to southern Africa to film and photograph the wildlife and your tips are among the best I've seen for this genre. You really show how important editing and composition is instead of what gear you use.

That eye edit was amazingly effective for such a precise and subtle edit!

Thank you Mark, this tutorial helps a lot.

Thank you Mark. This is exactly the edit I was looking for. I can tell, your editing course has helped me achieve a similar editing style results to my photos as well 😊

Learnt a lot. Thank you.

Great tutorial.  Thank you.

Amazing

thanks !

Great tutorial as usual, @MarkDumbleton. Please share a DNG or low-resolution RAW file to follow along.

interesting that moving the whites and blacks sliders the same direction creates contrast. Def misunderstood how those worked

Fantastic tutorial and such an amazing picture @MarkDumbleton . Would you say for this kind of editing it is essential to shoot in RAW? I don't photograph to have my pictures published but every now and then a great shot will make it to the company website so I generally don't shoot in RAW. I also need to get back into Lightroom and discover its full potential.

Thanks Mark .. I must learn how to Transfer from my Card to lightroom . At the moment it goes straight to Adobe Camera RAW and after the Conversion it opens into P Shop when I press 'Open' >> I have been using Camera Flat instead of Adobe Standard at the beginning I set the Profile first like you

In your recent email you looked at shooting tight vs shooting wide. My issue with shooting tight is that once you have seen a few lion, zebra, leopard, or wild dog portraits (shooting tight), you don't need to see any more. The internet is FULL of those tight portraits and fter a while, they are just boring. There is only a small amount of difference between all of them. When shooting wide, every shot can be unique with infinite variability.

Hi Mark, another great video and your tutorials are excellent in giving tips and advice on editing my wildlife photographs.  I'm using them loadssince my recent trip to Kruger.  Just a quick question, do you use Adaptive Colour Profiles?  I'm finding it really useful as a starting point over my usual 'Camera Standard' or 'Camera Landscape'

Nice edit Mark and some good tips , I have a question relating to DxO pure Raw 5 , I import my images into LR using my cameras linear profile but after sending it to DxO it returns in Adobe colour which is not what I wanted , is there a way to prevent this ?

Wonderful shot! Did you use the 180-600 for this image? When editing in LR. do you switch on the profile corrections for the lens? Thank you!
