Then Lieutenant Scott Altman, flew the upside-down scene flipping the bird. It is his middle finger we see. Altman flew the majority of (stunt) scenes. An airplane flew near his plane and filmed. Altman later became a test pilot for the Navy. Post Naval career, he successfully completed the NASA program, becoming an astronaut. He flew four space shuttle missions. Captain Altman commanded two of those missions.
It is disrespectful to say those scenes were computer generated. Captain Altman deserves the credit for all he did for the first movie. He also deserves our respect & gratitude for all he has done for the USA.
That award goes to the Brough Superior!😁
