Let's not forget this isn't just a miscarriage of justice but a criminal conspiracy against an innocent nurse and whistleblower with the participation of a number of individuals and institutions. All those involved in this scandal must face serious legal consequences and end up in prison.

Amanda Jenkinson’s conviction was quashed because the medical and technical evidence used to convict her was proven to be fundamentally wrong. At her original trial, the prosecution relied heavily on the testimony of Dr Schroeder, who claimed- by using a mathematical formula- that the patient’s ventilator had been deliberately tampered with. However, during the appeal, world‑leading anaesthetist Professor Alan Aitkenhead demonstrated that the prosecution’s interpretation of the ventilator data was scientifically impossible. He showed that the patient’s deterioration began five hours after Jenkinson had gone off duty, meaning she could not have caused the event. Additional expert analysis confirmed that the ventilator readings could be explained by equipment malfunction, normal clinical variability, or patient physiology, not sabotage.

Does this remind you of another very known recent case?! A malicious prosecution with flawed medical and statistical evidence created by consultants and doctors and delivered by a discredited charlatan retired pediatrician...

Well done Amanda for having the will and courage to fight them and show them up for what they are. The similarities are incredible.

I have been criticising the RCN and  NMC for years. And I will continue. They need to be taken out of their offices and put to WORK in a hospital .

The entire nursing workforce should simply walk out until this is resolved. No one should be working for an employer with this track record of hate toward its own staff....

In 1993 Charged with over a hundred murders/manslaughters!!!  Did we ever know of this case even though it was in the media??  Case built by the media?   Anyone?  I believe this goes on a lot, met my lot of "Nazi nurses" in my time too.  NHS is protected like a fine umbrella from any type of storm. Its sickening.
