Hi Freddie this is a very condensed version of my biking journey.14 years ago my daughter decided she wanted to ride and do her test.I decided to do the same so to keep an eye on her and keep her safe We both past our full test and started our big bike journey riding Triumph Street triples, everything was going great until four years in a woman decided to overtake on a bend and hit me head on.I died three times on the way to hospital but four months later and despite 26 broken bones and 19 surgeries I walked out of hospital.I immediately started to look for my next bike,once it's in your blood it's difficult to resist.I bought a Triumph Speedmaster and went through the catalogue eventually getting back to the Street triples.
Then came COVID both myself and my wife were really poorly and I nearly died but unfortunately Helen did die at the age of just 53,far,far too young.I survived but in a life or death scenario which involved me having to have my right leg amputated above the knee.The point of all this is that through all the trauma and heartache the one thing that's kept me together and sane has been my love of riding and how it makes you feel.I genuinely don't think I'd be here if it wasn't for the mental well being that biking brings.Ive had to ride smaller bikes due to my prosthetic leg and have recently discovered the joy of the Triumph Speed 400.Its been a revelation as I'd always ridden big bikes.If you've read this far thank you for your time,I just wanted to share the absolute proof that biking is good for you and in my case can be a genuine life saver.Ride safe but always with style, Martin.

If you are riding off road, there is a much greater probability that you are going to get into trouble, therefore good protective kit is pretty important. It’s nothing to do with the look or fashion, it’s just common sense 😀

1964 Lambretta Li150 Silver Special with RT195 kit, 2011 Triumph Thruxton 900, 1963 Vespa 150GL with 200 engine, 2023 Honda Dax 125 and a 1985 Honda Gorilla , all quite different and make me smile ( when they work 😊) had  most of them 10 plus years and have made good friends from riding them.

Hi Freddie after after 40 years of motorcycling and owning many bikes from sports bikes to adventure bikes to naked street bikes i am now riding a 2018 Royal Enfield classic 500 efi Reditch edition the way this bike makes me feel is pure joy the soundtrack is thump thump thump the vibrations remind you that your riding a motorcycle you can rev it through the gears without breaking the speed limits and everyone seems to smile and wave at you and when you do eventually stop for petrol there will always be someone standing next to the bike when you return they just want to chat about the bike either there father or grandfather rode Royal Enfields it evokes such emotions and memory's in people it just a joy to own and ride.

After nearly 50 years of riding practically everything, I've finally landed on what may be my last bike. 3 years ago, I bought a brand new Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer...and I'm still very much in love with it. 👌

My current bike is 2023 Ducati Multistrada v4 rally. Absolutely love it. We have toured most of Europe. I like to take it off road too

I’ve had well over 30 bikes including Super Tenere 750, Slabside 750, various GSXR’s, TL1000s, enduros, super bikes and everything in between. Currently I have a 2011 CB1000r, 1998 Zx9r, Triumph Scrambler 400 and a Hornet 600 track bike. My first bike was a Yamaha TY80 trials bike I got for Christmas in 1987 at the age of 8 years old.

I wondered if my Bonneville would make an appearance. I'm delighted it did 😊

My first bike after passing my test in Feb 2020 was a Bandit 600. Great starter bike, very forgiving. Then had a Virago 535, then a Yamaha XVS950 Midnight Star, then a Triumph Tiger 1200. Last month i bought a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and im in love with it!

Well I’m 62 now and been riding since my first ride at 14 … so many bikes - but just treated myself to a KTM1290 super duke GT - and will be riding France to Spain at the end of the month with my best mates … can’t wait

Got my license 2 years ago and have 25,000km’s on my W800. Lovely modern retro, I’ll never get rid of it.

On the Italians 🇮🇹 Freddie, the region around Lake Como is home to many of Italy’s bike makers but also lots of component specialists and foundries who make components for a variety of non Italian brands, including global brands, European brands, Chinese brands, Indian brands etc, Italian bike parts are truly global, including engine parts for the Triumph Rocket 3..! 🚀 Heading back to Mandello del Lario this September 🎉

Hi Freddie. 76 years old. Riding for 60 years now. 45 years on Harley’s. Now for the last 3 years. Kawasaki vn 1600 classic tourer which I restored last year. Super meteor 650. Classic 500 army green which I’ve owned for 10 years and a Vespa 300 gts which I love. Covered all needs.  😘

Back in '85 when I got my licence after 2 hours of training 😅, I borrowed my buddys Kawasaki 1000. Quite insane, I know, but I survived and last year I got back on the bike after years not riding, particularly because my son decided to get his license too, and buy a bike so now we both ride Yamaha 600's. Myself an old Fazer 2003, lots of kilometers on that old bike, but still runs just perfect.
