An interesting point is that Hizr as said to Moses pbuh saunabbiuka bi ta'weeli ma lam tastad3 3layhi sabra. Then when they are about to separate for real. Zalika taweelu ma lam tasdi3 3layhi sabra. As if he wanted to make it quick as if he himself couldn't be patient with Moses pbuh :) maybe it had to do with Hizr having a love and care from God. There are certainly more to it

About the brother shems yes what he says is true to a point. Just think of the finger and nail example. If we go deeper the finger and the nail is made up by atoms and the atoms do not move simultaniously. But you can make the argument like in properties like an electron has states or charge they move simultaniously. The reality of things is i think that in an atomized time reality simultanious causation is hard to find. But i had watched a phisic phenemon in which the effect came before the cause in things in which information is not added or something like that meaning cause and effect are linked but which we can percieve first has not a rigid 1 then 2. It can be 2 because 1. so meaning we can actually proof from this that causality is run by God and has no necessary self existence. But let me check that video.

About shems thing about necessary due to other and itself. Every contingent thing because of their dependent nature are actually necessary the way they are because they cant be any other way because they depent upon God to how they are. So then the potentiality of dependent things thus then by necessity can not originate or grounded by that contingent thing. Therefore every potentiality we observe is grounded by God. Therefore basically God's attribute of willing has infinite potential. And does not change as infinity cannot be changed. What changes are the effects aka outcome we observe as we observe change in creation by God willing.
