If they didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all…

Hugh Jackman "Let me know what date we're filming the glamer shot so I can dedicate the next 8 months of my life getting ridiculously shredded and then dehydrated so we can get this one minute shot of me shirtless."
Her: a director told me to suck my stomach in for a take, how horrible!

Christian Bale would throw up at this argument

Meanwhile, Thor's whole character in Endgame was ha ha I'm fat now, and in later movies Starlord is repeatedly body shamed for laughs. But oh no, don't tell me to suck in my belly rolls!

Women held accountable and expected to have standards? NAH!

The only necessary shirtless scene in the MCU was Steve Rogers after receiving the super soldier serum.  The audience needed to see the dramatic transformation.

The hypocrisy of Hollywood against females looking sexy/nude against male /sexy/nude is appalling.

"Suck in the gut guys, we're Ghostbusters." What no female character would ever say.

If you are hired for a job based at least partially on your looks then deal with it or become a plumber and no one will care if you have a gut

The only reason a director would say something like that is if the shot would be unflattering to the lady – in other words, he was trying to ensure he didn't embarrass her. He even told her in private. And yet, the woman still decided to be offended

Here I thought having seen people brutally killed in war was bad.... that poor woman.

1:35 lol, i saw an interview where Chris Pratt was like "wait, we couldve cgi'd the muscles?"

Remember Linda Hamilton in T2? She put the work in and was in bad a$$ shape. And I don't remember her whining about it being misogyny that she did that.

Woman say they have to constantly see unrealistic body standards in TV and film. If a man wants the body of a superhero, he needs to get down to 6% body fat, and pack on about 40 lbs of muscle, including fully visible abs, and pectorals the size of their head. Women just have to not be fat

I used to have a t shirt that said "Suck in the guts, guys, we're the Ghostbusters.". But that was half a century ago when people had a sense of humour.

I absolutely have no idea who this woman is.

The thumbnail says it all.

1:33 exactly! Imagine the backlash if a female hero was stripped naked and the male characters joked about it.

These actors would have lasted 5 mins 40 years ago , they are too soft shelled , kids that never grew up

"DON'T LOOK AT ME CREEP!" - A Hollywood actress

Actors no longer want to "Act" anymore. They want to show up, looking how they want, and then "act" as themselves, and if they are asked to do the job they are paid millions to do, they immediately run to the media to claim "Sexism", "Racism", or "Abuse".  They are the spoilt, untalented, bottom feeding dregs of the movie business.
