📌 ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Is the Wii U still worth using in 2026? 🤔

I decided to go back to Nintendo’s most underrated console and see how it holds up today. From the unique Wii U GamePad to its games and Wii backwards compatibility, there’s actually a lot to love about this forgotten console.

In this video, I take a look at what it’s like using the Wii U in 2026, what still works great, what feels outdated, and whether I think it’s worth picking one up today.

Is the Wii U still worth owning in 2026? Let me know what you think! 🎮

the WiiU is a monster, I love the console and its a retroarch moster as well.. it does everything and the games that utilize the gamepad properly are truly one of a kind! Zombi U is one of my favorite

I wish the Wii U was just normal hand held inside of console hand held something like that but in way I love to collect It in the future

There's a piece of software out there called vanilla. It allows you to emulate a wii u gamepad. I installed it on my hacked switch so I can use it as a gamepad.

Once you notice the clarity of wii playing GameCube compared to wii u there’s no going back to Wii u. The Wii u is good for the 2 Zelda games on it and being a XL ds

When playing GameCube games on your Wii U, instead of powering off the Wii U, push “L + R + Z + Start” at the same time to go back to the home menu.

😎 Wii U's on the market are about to dry up between modding and nostalgia. Get one while they're cheap!
