"You are the product for the owners. Without you, they don't have anything." I hope we all take that message to heart and realize our collective power soon. Whether it's a general strike, sustained boycotts, whatever...we have the power because we are the ones that keep things moving. Excellent interview!

Glad to hear him speak. He has a right to share his story. He did make history.

This was a fantastic interview. Easily the best thing Higher Learning has done. Rachel is such a great interviewer and her legal background is such a great asset especially in breaking down these things for the audience. Van, as always, has a knack for getting to the heart of the deeper questions and how they relate to culture. An underrated podcast duo if there ever was one. Bravo.

Good to see this brother smiling and in good spirits ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽special shout out to LSU”s own Eric Reed that stood ten toes down on one knee with him when the kitchen was hottest. Jay Z will never compare to Colin ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

Love this interview and I’ll be getting the book just to support Colin!

You didn’t need to ask Kaep. Boycotting the NFL is the LEAST we can do.

10 years strong! They haven’t changed and don’t deserve our support.

This, by far, goes down as my best Higher Learning (HL) interview to date. Interviewing skills on point, direct yet not defensive, viewpoints clearly articulated by all. I valued most, HL obviously provided a “safe place” environment as Colin appeared relaxed, thus fostering a sense of openness and sincerity. He was allowed to share his thoughts without being interrupted; an interview technique that appears to have been lost. Thanks Colin for sharing your narrative, while enlightening us to some behind the scene “shenanigans.” Kudos HL👏💪✊

I love his response to "why do you want to play in the NFL still?" Are you going to leave America?

The NFL is trash to US like most businesses smfh. "If the goal was money, I would've said nothing" This is a good brotha and is why I got his children's book for my grandson. Thank you Colin for loving us for REAL❤

This was such a great conversation. I have gained even more respect for Colin. I think I'll buy his book to support. He should have never been subjected to all of what he went through just because he took a stance for his people.
