Today's vlog is different: we left the classroom to experience learning in nature.
I took the Travessa do Saco community, from the municipality of Paripiranga-BA, through the EJA Campo program, to explore and hike the trail in the Santa Cruz da Ponta da Serra Ecological Sanctuary, in Adustina-BA.
It was a day of hiking, discoveries, togetherness, and lots of history. An encounter between education, nature, culture, and community-based tourism—showing that learning can also happen along the paths of the Sertão (Brazilian backlands).
Come along on this experience with me and discover a little about this place that holds so much beauty and meaning.
