"is it possible to beat this game as intended"

@MetalSandshrew 2 years ago

I was half expecting cuts to a camera to a fern in the view in the Kinect.

The truest challenge for any gamer. Physical activity

@Damian_Drężek 2 years ago

I love playing the game normally ended up becoming a challenge just because of how infamous it is

Nice to see your human assistant doing all the Kinect work for you; this game doesn't accommodate for Piranha Plants

The real April Fool's joke here is that you played through Sonic Free Riders of your own free will. You played yourself AND we got some Mawde Wile content.

You know, this as an April Fool’s Day video honestly makes sense. For two reasons:

-To see if there is any difference to enjoy it as is.

-Is it easier or harder to perfect all stages with or without the gimmick.

Were the reviewers joking or was it maybe true.

Ngl, it slipped my mind what day it was.

I can’t tell if this is an April fools video or not

Haven't even watched the video yet and it's already the best video of 2024

16:33 i love how he did his one and only shadow reference right after he literally just got done playing shadow

@universe7soap 2 years ago

Thought it was gonna be beating the game without hitting a wall.

@aruemon78 2 years ago

This might be your hardest challenge yet.

Love how the Metal Sonic race map icon just looks like Sonic.EXE.

Yo! Fool's jokes aside, I wanted to give my thanks for actually showing pretty damn good skill in this game! It always frustrates me to no end when any sort of reviewer complains about the controls being unresponsive, since they're just fine once you get used to the delay.

Especially the turning, though, nobody seems to want to use their arms while boarding!

But my ranting aside, splendid video, Mawde, sub obtained.

The Kinect has the same problem as the wii where you just need to find the right ones with better sensors, my Kinect wasn't that good apparently.

Not only is it possible, as a kid I was able to S rank all of the missions.

Still trash controls.

Love actually learning what happens in this game and not just someone complaining about the controls and putting it down after 5 minutes

The whole “swapping between normal and goofy stance swaps your rider ability” thing has me conflicted. On one hand, in general it’s a very “why would you do that” thing given the Kinect controls, because of course everyone would want to keep flipping their actual left and right to swap abilities as needed. On the other hand, it seems like something that would actually be pretty cool if you mastered it and pulled it all off flawlessly in a race, which is very much in the spirit of Sonic.
