As someone who used to play exclusively karts, I can say with certainty that using the Jetsetter with manual drift is one of the most joyless experiences Nintendo has ever crafted

It’s because they would rage quit if a tiny titan managed to beat them

❌ Banning the best bike
✅ Banning EVERYTHING ELSE

This is the "Fox, FD Only" but real

Tbf, in your shorts, you neglect to specify COMPETITIVE MKWii, which probably confuses people to think they can't use Karts on stuff like Wiimmfi

Mario Kart Wii ❌
Funky Bike Wii ✅

I just don't see how banning bad karts would stop someone's intent to throw. A troll wouldn't care about whether they're on a Flame runner or a Quacker.

wouldn't it be funny if ONLY the flamerunner and mach bike were banned and every other vehicle were allowed instead

I get that the mods are simply doing their job, but man, the Mario Kart Wii community is hell on earth 😂

Imagine being a lightweight main, where precisely zero of your characters are allowed to be used because none of the allowed vehicles are light.

I love how Karts are banned in the Kart Racer called Mario Kart Wii

They should have competitive race events that only use these worst vehicles.

It was said at the end of the video, but many still don’t seem to understand that this is only in COMPETITIVE Mario Kart Wii on Mogi Lounge. Mogi Lounge is NOT the same as regular online, where you can use whatever vehicle you want.

7:18  rainbow road has entered the room

Fun fact: there is a separate, although far less popular, kart-only lounge for players who are kart mains but still want to play competitively. The primary lounge does allow players to have an exception to play on karts, but you need to prove you have a relatively high skill level before being allowed it.

If you enjoy playing vehicles that aren't the Mach Bike or Bowser Bike, you could play Mario Kart Wii: Limitless where all the low tier vehicles have been buffed with the idea of every vehicle being balanced.

Vehicle restrictions in vanilla are why i play mods like limitless because they actually make the vehicles do stuff instead of being "melee fox but worse". The variety makes races a lot more involved when you have to fight someones win condition because they are being uncontested on a miniturbo vehicle.

I never thought I'd see a community more restrictive than Smash Bros.

Basically: People hate getting griefed by goofy looking karts "throwing" games

6:40 There is a single track where Karts are superior. Rainbow Road.
