I know the highlight is conquest in this season, but Rex went out like a G. What a badass who had such a good character arc.

they didn't rebuild conquest at all, they just sealed him there, he was never dead to begin with, just unconscious

Random non spoiler theory from this episode: I think the Technicians are bringing back the Mauler Twins.

When the Angstrom scene shows he got got pulled through his glowing portal, it shows the Technicians working on a blue body. I think that's a Mauler.

How May (sp ?) kept it together this last episode is beyond me! Plus her stonecold clapping at the end. She's hardened now lol

I found the comic version of Rex's death more heart wrenching. Rudy knew Rex was sacrificing himself and Bulletproof had to drag Rudy away. Everyone should try to find a free version of Invincible Presents: Atom Eve and Rex Splode online since it doesn't seem they're never going to make it like they did for Atom Eve backstory. Rex is totally underpowered in the series compared to what he can do in the comics. He was blowing up city blocks when he was an eight year old government assassin. Never trust a boy walking around downtown on his own with a baseball.

I love that you played these back to back. I've been waiting for you guys to get to these two. I read the comic version of this fight too and it was nearly 1:1. I was calling things as they happened lol

BTW, that whole I'm so lonely speech wasn't in the comics, that was newly added by Robert Kirkman specifically because Jeffery Dean Morgan was playing him. It fit perfectly I think

Cecils "huh" Was he didn't expect them to win And Cecil wasn't aware of Eve's full power. She hadn't told anyone about her mental blocks as Eve has trust issues and in the  shades of gray areas of the Invincible stories Cecil is better than the guy from her special both are still too similar for Eve to share her secret with.

2:55 no they didn’t, with mark gone angstrom was peaceful since he succeeded in ridding the world of mark. It’s because they brought him back and created a new timeline that this now transpired!

55:09 be careful what you wish for. being the judge, jury and executioner all in 1 can turn ugly really quick. you can quickly kill people you did not need to ans tart just killing endlessly since it is the easiest thing to do. killing or putting criminals back in prison also does not get rid of the root of the problem, since only the symptom is tackled with that approach. like we see with the lava guy and his partner in 3x3, some people only are doing criminal acts to get by, so for them, housing would need to become more affordable so that they do not feel the need to continue. and people like Powerplex and Angstrom would have needed heavy therapy instead of just being locked up. in rare instances killing can be  fine but I worry where this approach will end up at the end of it all, also for Mark's psyche, if he will become less compassionate and more shut of from his emotions to cope with killing multiple times possibly

@41:45  I assume science class wasn't either of your guys Forte... when someone can rearrange the atoms in the universe at will it pretty much makes them the most powerful being alive because they could literally turn the air surrounding you and that you're breathing into I don't know liquid metal LOL or increase the sun's rays to nuclear blast strength or something.. the options are endless and that's before she Taps into her ability to change living matter LOL if they actually used her to her potential she would be too op for the story lines

NOPE They weren't from different planets. The Hunk Pangea Burley Business Baby and the rest of the heroes being teleported out by Brit were the heroes from  season ones Guardians try out. The Hunk was the big blonde jerk Eve floored in the tryout.  Here he's killed fighting a Mark variant he had no chance of beating to give people enough time to run away.
