I don't care about numbers. All I want to know is does it make a sound when it goes over something? Yes? Good I'm digging it and finding out what it is for myself. A rusty metal box full of jewelry will read as trash.
I'm considering getting into metal detecting . I've subscribed to you. the options are mind boggling. something new. question . Minelab 1000 or Garret 24K gold? those are two I've been looking at. might retire so I only want to buy once for now. and I don't want to waste my money . I wouldn't mind or should I say it should be water proof just for rainy days. new guy . what would you recommend Sir. you have been doing this since 1976.
just because you said that one was better than the other, didn't convince me. It was kinda hard to tell what the numbers were at times. It was also hard to keep up with what frequency you were using, even though you mentioned it sometimes and put it on the screen sometimes. Not enough remained consistent during your testing, making it harder to follow along. To me they both or all three seemed very similar except for two times where the number was correct with one frequency. I would like to see more consistency with showing what settings are being used, which frequency is being used, what the target should read as. All of which should be shown on the screen the entire time each device is being used. Also, it would greatly help to understand your opinion about the capabilities of the specific device. I am not mad, just trying to offer some help as to what a viewer is thinking as they watch. From what I can tell the devices are quite similar and would be hard pressed to see the value ini purchasing the higher priced one. For that matter, they sounded great but the accuracy of the readings was spotty at best for all of them. It would be nice to know how their ability to accurately read compares to some control, being highly accurate. Also, would be nice to know why you changed the settings at times for some of the devices/frequencies but not others. Overall I really appreciate what you are doing with these videos. Hope this helps!
