For those that have one of these and a looking for more runtime, the casing has space to fit three lithium iron vape batteries in (13350) Wire them up in parallel and the run time will increase dramatically.

From my understanding with these portable versions is that you can actually attach a rather better airbrush to it and it'll work, like an iwata airbrush

I was going to get one because I've never been near an airbrush in my life and thought it would be more efficient for priming miniature walls and stuff. I think I will give it a go after watching this. Thanks for reviewing it.

Yes, base coats were what I was thinking of in regards to these hand held compressors. I have a 25 litre tank that I fill free at a local gas station but I am getting so ancient I can't always make it up the hill to fill the tank with air.
Don't get old. These are not the "golden years" but rather the high lead content pewter years with a gold plating exactly one atom deep.

Thank you for pointing out that it is constantly pumping out air and will dry out the nozzle

I have several airbrushes including one of these but I use a air hose with it so it’s more comfortable in the hand

is it still working?

Weird the air continued to spray from the brush, that's not typical.

If you feel like doing modifications to allow more paint for a short time. Try attaching it to a large soda bottle and a hose from the bottle to the airbrush give it a storage tank. Soda is about 40-55 psi at room temperature, so the bottle can handle the compressor.

Did you use water base paint or enamel/lacquer

This things do work - i started from similar one. Problem with them is that you have only (in my case) 2 pressure options - "low" and "high". Also - battery live limits for how long you can paint. Switched to the JAS 1113 airbrush and 1211 compressor. Still this portable airbrush is good place to start and to work out do you even like airbrushing.

Using a similar air compressor for over a year now with an Iwata airbrush for everything - priming, base coats, skin. Tried it with metallics, varnishes, thick and thin paints. Painting both minis and large statues. One broke after a about a year of use, so I bought a couple more. They're cheap, quiet and take up no space. If you don't have a large air compressor yet and space is at a premium in your workshop - just use these. Not the airbrush though - that you can throw away.

I got this Temu airbrush for me and my son. A very cheap way to teach my son how to use it...
We also did a bunch of paintings on canvas. I got my money worth...

I just received mind in the mail I plan to use mine for minor artwork on wood based on your video it should be great for that !!!

How do you fix trigger nozzle on it if its broke

@TheRealTopGunZ 1 year ago

I got mine a few week ago for about 20 euros, it works marvels if you are in the learning period, I have primed a couple dozen minis. I think that the constant airflow basicaly emulates a double-action airbrush, which is quite clever if deliberate. The box I got had a hose to connect the two main parts (I prefer the handheld mode), 3 different cups, and a few tools. Will definitely get something better along the road, but it is a great little tool to get you on the mood to work an airbrush.

Oddly enough I ended up ordering, this exact one from aliexpress. And wasnt sure if I was trying it out correctly, and then I found your video, which was quite helpful.

Air brush 🖌️ for oil painting 🎨 ?

I bought a portable airbrush from Neat And Handy but still haven't had time to try it in real work... And then I found out about these Temu/Aliexpress models and thought that I made a mistake. But this video shows, that it's probably not the case :) The NaH model has a two stage trigger (down to start airflow and back to spray color) so it looks like a better option now ^_^
