EMUVR is like your very own VR time machine, it's the best VR emulator around and it lets you customise your very own digital bedroom filled with classic consoles, games, VHS tapes and more... From the posters on the walls to the sheets on the bed EMUVR lets you create a space that feels uniquely YOU, it's one of the best VR applications around and it continues to improve thanks to a dedicated dev team. It's also FREE! This free VR emulation tool allows you to play classic consoles (N64, SNES, MEGADRIVE, PS1, PS2, DREAMCAST, GAMECUBE and MUCH MORE) on authentically recreated CRT TVs using touch controllers in an environment you can change at will, you can even set the time of day or the season outside to lock in a specific nostalgic vibe. If you're into VR emulation or just want to know how to play old games in VR / how to play retro games in VR then EMUVR is the finest solution for those with a VR capable PC. For this video I used a Quest 2 but it was connected to my PC via airlink, there is no native EMUVR Quest 2 version.

I actually have a Spirited Away poster in my EmuVR room! haha. Fuck Yeah, Studio Ghibli.
I really hope this project does take off properly some day, as it's objectively amazing. Nobody could try this, really try it, and not walk away impressed, it's just not possible. Also, this is an AMAZING proof of concept that could eventually evolve into a full online arcade experience. Imagine "lobby" based arcades (not a single, as that's not technically feasible), where each cabinet is occupied by real players, game boys sit on tables that can really be played, cards can actually be traded, music can be had, pizza eaten, etc. Basically this concept, MMO'd (sort of), with a classic dream arcade (thinking the Foot Clan in TMNT movie!), everyone in the same space. So excited for the future, thanks for sharing this, it needs it!
I'd love seeing those old boot ups again, popping that disc in...
troubleshooting for a couple hours until it finally works...
Sweet nostalgia 😁
would love to see them add handhelds someday (and maybe the Wii too)
I can see myself enjoying nostalgic devices like all the Gameboy handhelds or getting to play the DS “authentically”
VR would suit the Wiimote & nunchuck emulation too. All the motions and pointer controls would be so easy compared to emulating them on regular gamepads. Maybe they’ll add 16x9 flatscreens in the future and a way to fully customize your entire room layout.
Lots of potential here, really excited!
If the VHS tapes could link to your Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, etc. that would be amazing, also Multiplayer with friends would be amazing
