I swear if I ever make it big as a DJ/Producer, I am 100% giving you a massive shout out in interviews. For the entire 2.5ish years of this new journey for this "old man" (I'm about to turn 50), your videos have been nothing less than epic in helping me understand things and improve. 🙏😁

this is an amazing tutorial... not even just for rolling basslines, but for understanding of sub-bass in general.

RIP Jeff (SLAYYYYYERRRRRRRR!!!!!)

Just had to get that off my chest

The first second of the bassline of this video got me hooked to listen the whole video. 👌🏻

Boom!!! Pure synchronicity! I pretty much NEVER use rolling basslines, but it just so happens I'm working on a track with one just as this appeared in my feed. Thanks, brother. BTW - a good many of your tutorials are among the best I've ever seen on this platform. Exciting, relevant subjects explained clearly and logically. May the road rise with you ✊

Wow, learned loads but much more than that you've given us loads of creative ideas. Your wealth of experience shines through.

Man you've just fixed my understanding of quite a few things in such a short video, I always thought that having at-least a trace mirror of sub/mid bass was important for structural, but you are right it makes complete sense to treat sub as it's own mover as long as it complements the rest.

Timely video. I was just thinking about how I need to focus on groove more. Thanks Ben ❤

Really needed this video. It's something I've been experimenting with but so nice to see the confirmation on how much it impacts the groove. Thanks as always, Ben!

Separating the sub from the rest of the rolling bass is something I never really tried before. But it seems like a good thing to do now that I am seeing this so thank you!
