Rest in peace, Danya

Thank you for everything Daniel. We miss you

Missing you 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

Going back to watch these… just heartbreaking

57:47 encouraging to see that even at GM level rook endgames are impossible to understand

This might be my favorite Naroditsky video so far.  The talk about rooting out the dark bishop and using a5 pawn weakness to hold down black so that white can maneuver on the other side of the board was very instructive!

I’m a 1600 player and this is something I have not thought about.

The ones with complicated endgames are my favourite Speedrun games.

Ive been feeling terrible from a hangover all day, but I got up to put this on the big screen and make some popcorn to watch this

This is to let everyone know I was 1200 in November 2022 when I started watching Danya.... Currently I am 2180.... This is the real power of his teaching  ❤🐐

My head is spinning from the immense depth and complexity of these supposedly "simplified" R & P endings!

My accuracy of game after watching Danya videos: 99.9

Yooo
I live in Belgrade

Somehow I always play better if I play a game after watching a speedrun video. It’s like I can hear Danya talking about the game while I play it

Very instructive and encouraging that these rook endgames are even too complex for super GMs. One key note I took from this is to NEVER play the Belgrade Gambit, it's just way too deep theory for a occasional player to learn, so below 2200 level I suggest to avoid it.

It’s easy to get burnt out doing the same thing over and over again. I really hope you continue teaching on YouTube. Your channel provides the most instructive chess content. Hands down. I’ve learned a lot from you and enjoy watching your videos. Thank you :)

I just wanted to thank you for putting out all these incredible videos. As a ~2000 player, it's hard to find good instructional content geared toward players around my level (i.e. not GMs but also not beginners). These high level speedrun analyses are absolute gold -- I learn so many new things in each one.

I know you mentioned feeling burnout recently, and you should take things at your own pace. Your old videos are already enough for me to spend years studying. But your analysis just keeps improving, so I'm always excited when you do put out a new speedrun video or opening lab.

Thank you so much for everything you do!
