These kind of projects really enhance the kitchen, just beautiful!  I’ve sharpened a set of really cheap small screw drivers to make a set of chisels to use for making these kind of projects. It’s still a tool for our size hands, rather than using a nail, which I must admit never occurred to me. But you never know I might need it some day!

Such beautiful projects - both are very dear racks!  I love watching you work and your commentary as well.  The kind of joint you are making with the groove or slot is what we call a "dado" joint.  Nicely done.  One little hint, when you are removing glue with a toothpick [or cocktail stick] instead of using the point which they came with, if you slice the tip off part-way up the stick, at an angle, you are left with a pointed oval and for some reason it gathers glue so much better than the sharply pointed tip [more surface area, but still sharp!]
As for eggs - it is very easy to make cold porcelain, which is perfect for eggs.  Most people use cornstarch and cook it, but I try never to use actual food stuffs, since my dollhouse got mice when it was left at my childhood home!  [I was the kind of child who baked bread for my dollies - wanting everything to be real lol - I do try to make things of what their real life counterparts are, but there IS a limit!]  So if I am making something tiny like eggs, I would simply add some white [PVA] glue with some talcum powder.  No mice or insects want that!  If it sticks to your fingers, dip them in more talcum.  Then pastels or even mix in some acrylic paint for color, if you wish brown eggs.  Thank you for making your videos - they are such a pleasure to watch - all the best!

What a great video.  Loved the many ideas for creating shelves.  With your talent you should try making eggs and other fruits and vegetables.  It really is fun and you can just use white clay then color and shade with the pastels.   It’s so much less expensive than buying but the main reason for making your own is you get exactly what you need.  If the eggs you need are supposed to fit in the egg holder then you probably want them a certtain size and color.  What are the chances someone is going to have exactly what you want.  Besides,  we would love to see you trying to create the eggs and whatever else your kitchen might need.
