Cut the fabric and lining same way with seam allowances
Apply interfacing ( haystay on fabric and cloth gum on lining
Stitch your darts on both the front and back pattern on both fabric and lining.
Turn the neckline with the lining.
Join the shoulder line (sleeve), lining to lining and fabric to fabric.
Now the front and back are joined together on the shoulder.
Iron it properly and trim about 3/4 inch from the hem of the lining only, both front and back ( not the fabric pls).
Also trim any excess lining coming out at the armhole area. This is easy to do after ironing properly
Stitch the hem of the top now, front and back and iron.
Now stitch the armhole area, use the lining to turn the fabric inside. I hope this makes sense.
Stitch the sides. You can make it an inside seam or expose the seam if you prefer that.
Fix your zipper and your top is ready.
I hope this helps, thanks for watching
