What is the best song on each of these albums?

Definitely,Definitely maybe

It’s DM and it’s not even close.

Two great albums and what a great time to be a teenager, all the britpop stuff, trip hop, portishead massive attack, tricky, the big alternative american bands of the time, went to the gigs and the alternative/ indie club nights every weekend and during the week, plenty of skunk, speed, pills and booze! Thank you for the video🙋‍♂️

Park life is a great album, probably my favourite blur one, however it just doesn’t have the song quality of live forever or slide away

Depending on their release dates, I was either 19 or 20 years old. It was a great summer and a great time for music. I saw Blur eight times and Oasis three in total. Blur or Oasis? Both. My friends and I were never either or. We simply liked both. Probably repeating each album in turn some days. Making our tapes, driving around, playing football with car doors open with the music playing ( a couple of crafty cans of beer for the non drivers) out. Nice days.

Definitely maybe clear

As a huge fan of each band I think the Oasis side who criticize Blur for being camp should listen to This is a Low and To the End, beautiful and sad songs. The Blur side who think Oasis are one dimensional should listen to Oasis’s b-sides.

In 94 I was 16 and more into alt rock/grunge. Britpop wasn't really my thing but it was a great time to be a teenager in the uk, having your first nights out, going to indie bars etc. Having said that, now as a 48 year old I never listen to blur, but definitely maybe is a great album. Loads of swagger and attitude. I love it now

I like Blur, I've always liked Blur , but those bastards from Manchester just had it all, and I loved it.

Owen Morris is the under appreciated master mind behind oasis sound, he was their George Martin

I❤Def Maybe.But i also like Parklife.I am an Oasis fan.But i also like Blur.

Definately oasis maybe no definately 😂

Blur were brilliant, but Oasis are godlike

Big fan of both bands, I was comparing these 2 albums recently after listening to 'Parklife' a couple of times. I woudnt class either in the greatest albums ever catagory. I can't listen to 'Definately maybe' anymore, its too one dimensional for my tastes. Lyrically, musically (as you pointed out) Blur are streets ahead. Both very good albums but 'Parklife' has staying power to my ears, theres too much filler on 'Definately maybe'......up in the sky, shakermaker, cigarettes and alcohol' but 'Bring it on down' is awesome - i never tire of hearing that. Foot to the floor - love it. 'Clover over dover' is magnificent as is 'This is a low' - i wouldn't have included 'Lot 105' but.... there you go. Enjoyed your video man. 'Dig out your soul' is my favourite Oasis album - i always said to.people when they broke up - "its a shame - they were getting good" ha ha.

Big fan of both, both incredible, but for me, Definitely maybe is the greatest debut album of all time, shortly followed by The Stone Roses and NGHFB

For me, Slide Away-Oasis and Tracy Jacks-Blur

It's obvious isn't it? Oasis is simply on another level!! in the end history put everything in its place

I didn't even have to watch this. C'mon, It's Definitely Known

Before watching, it's definitely maybe. And it's not close
