The view is priceless!!! And the house is lovely and liveable!! Wishing you and your wife health and a long life to enjoy it!!!

If you’re both happy and no regrets with a million dollar view like yours - it’s a bargain! Enjoy your Sicilian life 😊

What an amazing position your house is in!

You have a great purchase, enjoy.

Stop beating yourself up! You made the right decision. Don't look back just look forward to spending time in your wonderful new place. The roof terrace is fantastic just be mindful wind storms happen sometimes. As for the electric plugs buy a €1 adapter at a market. Looking forward to that beer mate 😏.

Just the view is worth the price!

Mate, you have done well great spot and as you say “we love it” that’s all that matters. Forget the negative comments go head and enjoy it. I plan todo the same in 6 month and thanks for your honesty

I am an Aussie and i know you have done very well. I would love to be living your life. Sit back and enjoy it.

Amazing ❤where you are and as you say this view is 🎉❤🎉

Great information, thank you.

you did fine ...the view alone makes it worth it ...good luck👌🏼

There are equal properties in Italy that are approx. € 50,000, so you did pay a wealthy foreigner's price. But in comparison to other countries the price is still under value.

Priceless mate

Could you afford it? Do you like it? Please don’t look back!!! You’ve done well. I love your wonderful views and parking . Just live your life and enjoy it.people have little to do criticising from their sofa.❤💕❤️💕❤️💕

Looks like nice home... Im happy for you!

Thats a million-euro view brother. Enjoy.

I was told that that Italian real estate is a lifestyle purchase, not an investment. You will pay nore than a local because those infleuncers aren't licensed real estate agents and are getting referral fees. That  being said: you bought it at a price that suited you so enjoy it. I love the view too.

We retired to Ecuador. Found our forever home, hadnt yet sold the previous home. The seller offered us zero interest for a 2 year payoff. So, we didnt negotiated as hard as we ordinarily would have. It was a great deal for all of us. Sometimes you dont have to get the best deal.

I'm a retired Italian who owns a property in Calabria. One thing to consider is the heat 🔥 and wild 🚒 fires 🥵. In the last few years I stay away from June to September. 35 to over 40 average summer day temp 🥵 to hot for me guys 😢 Good luck 🤗 Ciaooooo 👋

Interesting to see who bought this property I remember it's recognisable terrace

I've been eyeing up Sicily property but had doubt about remote 'dyng' villages, but Motta seems a good exception. It has the draw of LEAW as well as (if they stay) Travelbeans. Seems a good expat community there now too and nearby places like pettineo
