Hey guys and welcome back to ChriswithaC RC! πŸ‘ŠπŸ

Today we're heading back to the awesome Ledbury Model Car Club for a proper real-world track test of the Rlaarlo DSK 1/8 E Buggy.

Since the first build video, the DSK has had some serious attention. We've been working through the setup, finding the weaknesses, unlocking more mechanical grip and trying to transform this platform from something with huge potential into something that can genuinely go racing.

The DSK was handed over to my awesome friend, JPRC (Jon Paisley), who has helped tune the buggy and work through some of the issues we discovered during its first run.

The biggest challenge?

Rear-end grip.

We needed to get the buggy planted, improve mechanical grip and make the car more predictable and consistent when pushing hard through corners.

And honestly...

I've been absolutely blown away by how much potential this platform has shown once we've started working with it.

It's also fantastic to see Rlaarlo listening to feedback and taking information from reviewers and racers seriously. That's exactly what I want to see from a manufacturer.

Now we're getting closer to the real test...

🏁 My first official 1/8 E Buggy race with the DSK.

And eventually...

πŸ”₯ The official Rlaarlo DSK Championship race at Herts Model Car Club.

So this isn't just another practice run.

This is preparation.

🏁 REAL WORLD TRACK TEST

In this video we're putting the Rlaarlo DSK Pro through a proper shake-down at Ledbury.

We'll look at:

πŸ”§ Tuning changes
🏁 Mechanical grip
βš™οΈ Rear-end stability
🎯 Cornering performance
πŸš€ Acceleration
πŸ› οΈ Setup changes
πŸ’ My honest thoughts after tuning
πŸ‘€ And what needs changing before race day

But I also wanted another opinion.

We caught up with Ben Buckley, Co-Owner of Ledbury Model Car Club, and handed him the transmitter.

Ben got to put some proper laps in with the DSK and give me his completely honest opinion on how it drives and, more importantly, what HE would change to make it better.

That's exactly what I love about RC racing.

Different drivers feel different things.

Different setups work for different people.

And sometimes another pair of eyes can spot something you've completely missed.

🏁 Actually become a competitive race platform?

That's the BIG question.

And honestly...

I cannot wait to find out.

Would you race one?

Let me know in the comments πŸ‘‡

10K was the goal.

For such a long time it was that number sitting in the distance, and now we've actually reached it.
