We're taking a look at this Amazon's Choice Item,  Sundpey 166 piece Basic Tool Kit w/12 V Cordless Drill and Carrying Case.

If you’re in the market for a basic tool kit or tool set for beginners, this might be an option. I’m providing some honest feedback here and I feel like this is a great intro tool kit for someone just starting out without any tools or the DIYer who is just wanting a wide assortment of basic hand tools for an apartment, condo, or a college kid who needs something quick and handy, etc.

I really like the value that this kit provides; lightweight portable carrying case, cordless drill with battery charger included and a wide variety of screwdrivers, bits, allen wrenches, hardware for hanging, utility knife  w/extra blades, tape measure, hammer, etc.

The only con I can think of is the molded soft plastic on the inside of the case doesnt always hold the items snug and a few may fall out of place when transporting, but that is a very minor inconvenience in my opinion. Of course, with this price range you're also not going to get some higher end tools or super high quality, but its a great value kit and perfect for a beginner who needs only light use for the occasional project.
