Cards ripped in half
“I’ll just reball the chip and see if that helps!”

I've soldered boards for 17 years for a company and not once have I seen anyone dig into a board like that. I kind of died inside watching that. But it was done and fixed and I'm still in awe lol. Crazzy stuff man. I've gota send this to my co-worker/boss.

You are either unhuman or the absolute G.O.A.T. of GPU repairs.  Truly impressive work.

I already saw few repairs on 5090 and oh my god its mind blowing how they still mess card design. Like here they put damn cap and 1000 tracks near critical failure point. Everyone know that card is super heavy, that it break in that specific point, they could move component and tracks there, they have space. They also know perfectly well that memory get hot, but still design cooling in worst possible way just to save 2-5$ on 3K card

This one had everything. Multiple reballs, crack repair, oscilloscope, schematics, glue, cool music and even cats! Amazing. Thank you.

I've been in the semiconductor industry for 17 years and PC builds/repairs for longer, and the way you abrate through and solder a PCB for crack repair still amazes.

The best part was the cat with the flute; we need to see it more often. Great job man

This guy didn’t just fix it — he performed magic. Like calculating pi with an orange and a pen, and somehow rebuilding an entire GPU from scratch. Absolute hardware god level

Flute cat always gettin down

I used to work on military avionics repair, we only did board repair on multi layer board if we had no options for getting a replacement. I cant imagine what all the specialized fixtures and hotair setups cost nowdays. Thank you for showing us this!

It's comforting to know that I am not  the only one who just uses wires when it's impasible to "correctly" repair.
I mean, it works in the end.

if anyone is interested in the 3d printed stencil for 5090 as well as other cores, see my thingiverse page. Link in the description

How do you even get to this level of confidence and expertise in repair?

This has got to be the new video that made me hold my breath everytime you're gonna check for voltage. The amount of plot twist is insane.

You are such a KING! There's no one out there who is more honorable and great at what he does than you, Brother!

The "Founders Edition" versions of the RTX 5000-series cards uses a removable PCIe edge-connector.

This should be a standard on all GPU's as it would make it very easy to "repair" a cracked PCB.

Thanks for adding music and the cat playing the flute. 😄

The amount of patience and skill required to do this is next level

Incomparable ball knowledge
