Helmut Rauca, an SS-Hauptscharführer and Gestapo officer, was a primary perpetrator of the Holocaust in Lithuania. As a member of Einsatzgruppe A, Rauca served as the Jewish Affairs Specialist in Kaunas, where he directed the systematic selection and execution of thousands of Jewish residents.
