I miss Missy the most. She was at the "love" end of the love/hate axis that all the Masters orbit around, and her redemption and effective death was a fantastically compelling arc.

It kinda annoys me when people insult John Simm’s Saxon Master calling his performance ‘over the top’ and ‘unhinged’ and I’m like uh yeah that was the point he was driven insane by both the events of the Time War and the never ending constant drums in his mind it makes sense he’s be driven to being completely unhinged and truly dangerous as opposed to being more calm and controlled

Missy's death was heartbreaking and the illustration of without hope, without witness  without reward.

Can we take a moment to acknowledge just how cool of a name Roger Delgado is? It's a name that definitely fit the guy's charisma.

Fun Fact: Though Delgado was the first actor to play the Master, he was never confrimed to be the original incarnation, infact he was never even numbered officially, leaving many to believe (including myself) that he was the Thirteenth Incarnation, who then decayed into the Decayed Master, whilst others place Sacha Dwahan's Master between them.

Fun fact about the War Master/Yana: in the following two parter, the Master explains how he came to be back in this timeline. During the Time War, it was the Time Lords who resurrected him to fight in the war.

No way, I wrote my English essay on the Master yesterday (we were supposed to write about our favourite character)! I'm so excited to see the video, only a shame I wasn't writing it today, haha 💗

Missy dying when the Doctor wasn't there is one of the stages the Doctor gave her  to be 'good', being good with noone to witness it.

The first master was on his last regeneration. It was why he left Gallifrey trying to find a way to extend his life.

Two that weren’t included: The Lumiat, which falls between Missy and the Spy Master in the audio stories, and the reverted child version that comes during a the War Master’s tenure.

Ainley and Gomez are easily in my top 10 favourite Doctor Who actors.  They would've made an amazing team-up.

I remember Matt Smith saying that he wanted to come back to Doctor Who, but as the Master.  That would be something that would make me find a way to watch again

There's also the belief that the War Chief in the story arc "The War Games" was either The Master, or at least the "prototype" for him.

I'm glad that the war master has gotten the chance over the years to tell his story and show his adventures through Big Finish audios. Same with the other big finish Masters.

Still would given ANYTHING to seen Missy and River to met

Something I wish the series capitalized on more is the fact that a good amount of the Master's timeline isn't documented. You could do something original with the Master and have it be one of his early incarnations from like the 1st or 2nd Doctor's timeframe, who would act differently because they haven't become the Bond-esque mastermind the Master was introduced as. Unseen Master incarnations fit way more than unseen Doctor incarnations

@7:33 You forgot the 1999's "The curse of fatal death" master and his estupendous Dalek Bumps!

Also, the first Doctor's female regeneration!

Having Matt Smith image while talking to the future of the master interesting

After seeing Anthony's Master burning to death (seemingly) in 5th Doctor's "Planet of Fire," I was thinking the resulting burnt-to-a-crisp almost-corpse, is the Decayed Master in Deadly Assassin.
