I love that Ronnie Yu made both Bride of Chucky and Freddy VS Jason and John Ritter is in Bride of Chucky and  his son Jason Ritter is in Freddy VS Jason.

Kane is THE Jason for me.

Hodder not being Jason was a crime as was Jason's treatment in Jason Goes to Hell.

Freddy: "Jason, I'm your father."
Jason: "Say what?"
Freddy: "And Michael Myers is your brother."
Jason: "Now you're being silly."

my favorite fact about this movie is that My Chemical Romance wrote "Sister to Sleep" for the soundtrack but for some reason it went unreleased (prob their record label). this is one of my favorite movies and MCR is my favorite band so love that they're connected.

FVJ is a blast from start to finish. While I’m not gonna say it’s the best movie out of either franchise and it has a lot of flaws, it’s such a party movie and the final fight was a bloody blast. And I agree with the sentiment of Jason winning my own bias aside since Jason is my favorite, but let’s be honest: Freddy while still supernatural in the real world to a certain degree as shown by the OG movie, he had to be buffed up to a huge extent to give the final fight and balance since Jason would have probably one shotted him if otherwise. And Monica KEENA’S Lori is THE hottest final girl from either franchise in my opinion and I think fans are WAYYY too critical of her. I really think she was a good solid lead and their issue was with the script not her performance. And most of all the film was a really fun sendoff to the original series films before they both got completely rebooted. I love this series you have been doing Nick and I would love if you did an UNMADE FRIDAY THE 13th sequels video!

I saw CJ at the Detroit Horror Con - such an awesome presence, really a great guy!

I can understand the dislike for freddy vs jason. But I liked it overall. Yes the dialog is meh and story meh. But from a fun standpoint it was Great. Could it have been better sure but I think it never would have pleased most fans no matter what they did. I was just happy we got what we got. I agree kane should have been in it. Now i love kane, but feel he is overrated as jason. But he should have been in it.

I saw this movie theaters and loved ever since.

The reason Tommy Jarvis wasn’t used in FvJ  is that the character is owned by paramount & new line only had access to Jason, him mother & crystal lake

Kane is always going to be my Jason , I really hate that he didn’t get to be in the movie & I found it really unfair that he lost the role to his own stunt double . They wouldn’t have dared to replace Freddy for this movie , so they shouldn’t have replaced Jason . I just finished watching this movie & seen you uploaded this video & I was stoked ! Thanks for the video 😊

I'm so glad the Freddy isn't Jason's dad. But it would have been cool if Alice and Tommy in it.

Got another one for you:

The initial concept of Freddy Vs Jason is what actually led to the inclusion of Tina in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.

They initially wanted to do Freddy Vs Jason but couldn't come to an agreement, but they still liked the idea of a Vs movie and decided to try and shift focus to a Jason Vs Carrie movie instead, but they couldn't secure the rights to the character

So they decided to take the overall basic structure of Jason Vs Carrie but just replace Carrie with the character of Tina and enough changes overall that she was "technically" an original character

I can't express enough how big this movie was at the time, but in retrospect, I think the audience deserved more and better than what we got, especially knowing that this was a 10-year wait. Tommy and Alice should've been the main characters, Kane Hodder should've been Jason, and it should've been directed by someone who actually knew the material, like Wes Craven, Chuck Russell, Steve Miner, Tom Savini, or John Carl Buechler. The best new casting in the entire movie was probably Katharine Isabelle, which happened because Robert Englund pitched her to Bob Shaye after seeing her performance in Ginger Snaps

I dig these facts. I was following this movie for years. A lot of those tossed scripts were leaked online in the late 90s/early 2000s. I read all of them!

Fact 11. The end scene wasn't Ken as Jason.

I like this movie, saw in theaters, haver the dvd, the bd, but that thing of Jason's afraid of water, oh boy that pisses me off!

I noticed the glove thing and thought it was weird, even as a kid, but the posters are so badass that I don't even care! The rule of cool, goddamnit! Could have easily fixed it by simply flipping the image, but it looks better with Freddy on the left!

Sweet video Nick!
Keep 'em coming!🤘

Recently discovered your channel and been binging this videos, great timing on this one I rewatched it for the first time since I was around 9 after having taken 2 edibles, what a amazing time from start to finish, it’s it’s very cheesy, but it’s got so many great moments for fans that I can’t help but love it, the mattress kill is a top 5 Jason kill for me & “Got Your Nose” gave me nightmares for ages
