I agree with Norm MacDonald. Saying I hate Trump isn't a world view, and making comedy exclusively about how much you hate Trump is lazy. RIP Norm 😔

I missed the days of South Park where near the end of the episodes, the kids “learned something”.

Well, that $1.5B from Paramount was just too much pass up on.

If this was an episode, fine, but this was the Entire Flipping Seaon.

I actually thought that South Park leaned too heavily on Donald Trump a little too heavily during his first term, so this season doesn't interest me at all. What might help them get away from the politics of the moment might be to refocus the show around the main cast of fourth-graders and how kids that age might actually see the world (as much as I enjoy Randy and the grown-ups). Most elementary schools probably don't think about Pete Hegseth much.

The problem with the latest season is that not only is it repeating the same joke over and over again, but the joke they're repeating is basically a reskin of a joke they made repeatedly in the South Park movie DECADES ago.

I miss when South Park mainly focused on pop culture and was mostly episodic.

It feels like the boys have become supporting characters in their own show.

Can South Park please go back to 1 episode gags instead of that continuity that lasts an entire season or more?
So many things happened and it was all squandered on beating a dead horse

South park went from being Stan... to turning into Gregory....

Mainstream media is not politics it is 100% PROPAGANDA
 One-Hundred Percent

South Park went the SNL route. Time for the show to end.

When the "counterculture" group stops 'raging against the machine' and starts ' raging on the machine's behalf ' you're no longer counterculture.

The thing I noticed is they never made any low hanging fruit jokes about Biden’s performance or Obama, but when it’s Trump, any low hanging fruit is considered some middle finger to him.

Matt and Trey fighting for free speech yet still work for a company thay bans their episodes. Yeah i totally believe them

I think it's worth noting that when South Park made fun of "Right-Wingers" like Charlie Kirk (a few days before he was assassinated), JD Vance and ICE, those people and groups posted pics of their South Park parody versions on Twitter and said, more or less, "Hey guys! South Park thinks we're relevant!" and they had a few laughs.

Trey and Matt got butthurt and replied with things like, "You know we're making fun of you idiots, right?". Those "Right-Wingers" just kept posting and laughing at themselves. Trey and Matt later deleted their replies to them.

Trey and Matt don't like it when the people they try to mock are able to laugh at themselves and throw a few jokes back at them.

when you get paid billions of dollars those who pay you want something for those billions
sometimes it's a profit, sometimes it's a message

I really like your distinction between culture and politics -- between leisure and action.

Why on earth would anyone stop painting their Warhammer figures once they are an adult? It takes that long to hone the skill for them to start looking good.

I’d be fine with this recent season if they had acknowledged Joe Biden being a vegetable just once in the prior 4 years.
