I love the paradox about arceus and mew but I also love that there is a simpler explaination that also explains why there seems to be multiple "deities" pokémon even tho they're supposed to be unique species: while mew is the first ORGANIC life form and the one all "regular" and some legendary pokémon come from, deities like Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, Kyogre, Groudon etc are simply manifestations of forces of nature that take on a physical form.
It could also simply be another one of the human observation bias to believe mew is the ancestor of every pokémon, because there are also pokémon that canonically can't be descendants of mew because they're created from objects (banette, claydol) or even from people (i believe kadabra is implied to be born from children with psychic powers, but also yamask, phantump and others coming from human souls for example)
The whole "first pokémon" theory imho is a very clear case of occam's razor.

Ditto being in legends arceus is it being pulled through time and only one ditto can’t properly transform

23:42 if I remember right, in the Pixelmon mod, you get ditto from literally failing to clone Mew into Mewtwo and I think that's such a neat detail

Nice no overly annoying forced sleepy narration and good visuals thats a SUB

I'm going to give this a try. If I fall asleep, you have my word I'll subscribe in the morning.

I'm sorry, Jengar?

The thing about Ditto's eyes was originally just a quirk of one specific ditto in the anime who was bad at transforming, so most ditto's can transform well. Also Hisui does have a lit of time shinanigans going on so Ditto could be a result of that

0:20 yes and yes, good night

I loved listening to the Mewtwo story as well as it's paradox. The one paradox about Arceus and Mew was also very fun to soak in. I believe the theory about Arceus making everything, time space and matter, while arceus' real body is outside of everything, as we know Arceus is it's personal agent if u'd call it that. That would explain how he could limit his own power to time, space and matter, creating Mew, who every pokemon doesn't descend from when we know certain pokemon are created outside of other pokemon species or parents. As well as giving some of it's power to Dialga, Palkia, Groudon, Kyogre and so on. I'm writing this the following day after being incredibly relaxed from listening to this. I also haven't thought out the theory properly so yeah. I half expected you to have at least 100 000 subscribers and 500 000 views. Thank you for your pleasant storytelling.

Wow I really loved this even though I knew many things, because I have loved Pokemon all my life. But I also learned knew things and thought about new things. 1,5 hours passed by like nothing!!
Which of the 3 channels do I have to watch for more of this? I have chronic insomnia and this was very exciting to listen to. You also have a very soothing voice which makes the whole video better. One of my favorite Pokemon related videos ever now.

I love these sleep lore videos. Subbed & liked before even watching ❤

Subscribed - amazing videos! Keep it up man 😁

:kyo GRAY" unforunately buddy this is where the video ends for me💀

Can’t get over you calling him suh-lebby

This video was so interesting that i had to come back to listen to it again after falling asleep during the first listen (i think i only lasted the first 10-15 minutes). I wanted to hear more pokmon paradox cases.

But...dude...it's throwing me off how often the pokemon names are mispronounced. Suicune is my final straw... 😭

I also started in 1996

26:49 this is a common misconception. The Ditto that cannot change its eyes is only one specific Ditto from a specific anime episode. This has been a selling point for plushes and other merchandise and is not a reflection of all Ditto to ever exist.

How would these three pokemon become the ancestors walking wake, etc.? Wouldn't  they be the descendants?
